Easy way to blow out water lines in RV
My RV water heater froze last winter so I wanted to really blow out my plumbing lines good this year. I have a small compressor, so I hooked this up and placed the other end in the city water connection on the RV. It's said you can go up to 50 psi but I didn't want to damage anything. The first blow I went to 25 psi due to water in the lines and all faucets open. I next did a 30 psi blast then a final 35 psi with each individual faucet only opened. No more water came out so I'm satisfied they're cleaned out. Finished off with RV antifreeze poured down drains to fill P traps. Very easy.

Blow Out Your RV Water Lines Before it Freezes Outside
Used this to winterize my Leisure Travel Van. The materials appear to be high quality, the fittings are all solid, and it worked great to blow out my lines. As an extra precaution, I also added anti-freeze to my system. I gave it 4 stars because it comes assembled with a small roll of plumbers' tape, but the threads weren't pre-sealed. For anyone with basic skills and a couple of wrenches, it's not a big deal and takes about 10 minutes to take it apart, apply the take, and put it back together again. If you're the kind of person who doesn't own a couple of adjustable wrenches, find a friend who does. I hooked it up to my compressor and kept it at 40 PSI. I have a large air compressor, and it kept up just fine, but if you have a smaller compressor, you may have to let it cycle a few times while using it.

Worked as described. Love the shut off valve. Used this for blowing out sprinklers.
