Jiffy Rigi Bag Mailers (#4, 9-3/8-Inch x 12-7/8-Inch, Case of 200)

These are PERFECT for mailing books up to 9X6. I previously used 8X10 bubble mailers but felt that they were a bit flimsy when trying to address them. (Pen tips would easily puncture envelope.) These Jiffy Rigi mailers are extremely sturdy and even appear to be water resistant because they are so thick. Because they are so rigid, you have to be very careful when sliding a 9X6 book in, but once it's in there, it is well protected. The only downside is that there is limited wiggle room for much else, unless you're mailing something smaller than a 9X6 book. These would even work for something small and slightly fragile--you'd just have to insert some bubble wrap.

These are identical to the case of mailers I bought from Uline, and were cheaper as well. They are heavy duty, flap lies flat and seals well, and side seams hold firmly. I sell various sized pieces of ephemera on Ebay and intentionally get oversized Jiffy mailers. That way if I have something large, I already have an envelope, and if I have something small, like bookmarks or a postcard, I can cut a Jiffy envelope in half and, voila! now I have two for the price of one. Cheap, but effective, and cuts down on having to stock and store umpteen sizes. Wish I could do that with boxes.........

I used to buy these at ULine but found these to be much cheaper on Amazon. The mailers came without any issue and I will be ordering more in the near future.
