Ok if you are willing to put in a little work.
Overall for the money this will work for what i need, with a little fixing. Mine (like most others) came damaged. Chips in the paint, dings, and scratches. The box was just a mess. As for the opperation of it, when i first tried to open it, the door did not open more than an inch. I tried several times. Finally i did a full inspection of it and found that one of the lock bolts was never installed correctly, it had fallen out of the door and was jammed in the top door hinge. I was able to remove it from tgere and the door opens fine now. The part that fell out is easy enough to fix. But i just should not have to. Once i finally got it opened to inspect the inside, i noticed that all the lining is installed sloppy to say the least. So i dont want to have to return this and wait for a new one, nor do i want to spent 500-2000$ for a top of the line safe that i have no room for. I am going to put some thin rome matting on the inside and fix the lock. Then this will be fine for what i need.I would not say this, lets be honest, locker is not worth buying if you need a small lock up for a few rifles and pistols. Im just saying be prepared to potentially have to fix it up a little.

5 gun? no. more like 2 for me.
could only fit 2 guns with scope because they would have to be turn at a 45 degree so the door can close. when it first arrive, there were loss screws and nuts inside with a lot of rattling. but the packaging was super impressive. they did improve it with thick 1 inch foam on all sides. i disassemble the back of the door and tighten all screws and bolts/nuts. also found that 1 of the lock was assemble backwards but if i where to fix it, i would need to remove the keylock assembly, so i left it because it worked anyhow. as i said, i could only fit 2 gun because of the scope. the door would not close if i didn't turn the gun at a 45 degree. it would fit 5 gun if they don't have scope on them. a great gun safe.

it falls over from weight of poorly assembled door.
you get what you pay for. if you don't intend on mounting this to a stud in your wall then forget it. Its door is the most attractive feature having 5 locking bolts. when I received mine things where questionable. The cover behind the door was looses and the screws securing it in place where held in with odd numbers of washers. some had no washers. like a child laborer put it together. if the other panels where heavy enough to counter the weight off the door when open it would be tolerable. as for space three cramped scoped rifles but annoying and cramped. go get a liberty safe centurion. don't play around with this BS.

Good for Specific Uses
The packaging of the item in inadequate. I read several reviews about chips and scrapes in paint due to insufficient packaging.. I think the entire safe needs to be wrapped in foam or styrofoam, then boxed. My box had several holes in it. My safe has one paint chip (front, top edge) that I will need to touch up. The item arrived early, but you have to be there to sign for it. That caused a bit of a problem for me.The safe is good for a locking cabinet. It will keep kids and the amateur burglar away. I bolted mine to the floor of my RV, and drilled holes in the back that corresponded to a stud in the wall. I needed a safe to lock up a rifle and other items while I'm camping and out hiking. The door is heavy duty, the rest of the cabinet is sturdy. The key (skeleton type) acts as the handle. You will need to hide a large key someplace or carry a large key with you.Overall, this safe/cabinet was just the perfect size I needed for my RV. I didn't want anything heavier due to weight. I would recommend this safe for specific uses. It's not a replacement for a real gun safe (which I have at home), but overall, it's nice.

Manufacturer has improved shipping issue.
The manufacturer must of heard all the complaints about their safe arriving damaged. Mine came protected by styrofoam inside a cardboard box and had none of the chips or dents other buyers have mentioned. It also came with an extra key which I saw others say theirs did not.As far as the safe itself goes, it's obviously not top of the line but for what you're paying it's pretty dang good. Like another review said, it will keep kids and amateur thieves out.If you have more than 3 long guns I'd look at spending more money on a bigger safe. And the shelf is nice for storing ammo, but if you're planning on storing a ton again I go with something bigger.Overall I am very happy with the purchase. If you're looking for a top-of-the-line, no way anyone's getting in here gun safe then keep looking. If you don't have a ton of money to spend and are looking for a low-cost way to keep your guns away from kids or idiots, then this safe will do the trick.

Great, small, gun safe for the price!
It's way more secure than any gun "cabinet!" Good small size rifle safe! Yes, it does come dinged up because the packaging isn't great & some idiot(s) dropped the box a few times. I just spray painted over the spots where the pain was chipping off & it looks/works fine. Only 2 Normal Sized Rifles & 2-4 Pistols Fit, but that's fine with me. Locking bolts & mechanism are functionally solid & work properly ( I took it apart to make sure everything was assembled properly). If you put a little work into this safe it's really decent & secure for the price. Right out of the box it comes dinged up & the top shelf is a little flimsy, but I still recommend getting this if you need a small rifle safe that is much more secure than a rifle "cabinet."

my review of the 905 gun safe
It has chipped coating along sides and bottom, It's obviously used with a very dim smell inside it should be a strong chemical smell of felt , The doors a bit bent and the inside is dirty!! More of a cabinet but better than average gun cabinet also needs a spacer connected to the arm with cotter pins and that would prevent locking and unlocked failures!!

Complete JUNK!
Complete junk. Lock collapsed on the inside of the door. Key wouldn’t turn. I needed to get an Allen wrench but the key wouldn’t turn. So after back and forth and a bunch of frustration I was able to crank open it with flatbed screwdriver. This safe is junk. Look elsewhere don’t waist you money.
