Simple Water Boost Hydrating Gel Cream dermatologically tested moisturiser for dry skin 50 ml

Excellent product. I have combination skin on my face and drier skin elsewhere but I tend to just use this for my face as every other product causes stinging and eye stinging/watering, whereas this does not. It is instantly hydrating as the ‘water boost’ label suggests. It is moisturising, completely non greasy, non sticky and leaves your skin feeling soft but not wet, within seconds. I can put this on my face and almost immediately apply make up because it will have already been absorbed - which helps when i need to be quick in the morning! It comes as a thickish white gel cream and being a Simple product it has no scent and equally does not irritate. It would be useful if this came in larger tubes than 50ml as I get through it quite quickly (I use morning and night) and when you get more than 2/3 through the tube it is quite difficult to squeeze out, so better design packaging would be helpful. Great value for money, much cheaper than in the shops and arrived quickly.

This was my first time using a gel type of moisturiser but I have to say the results are really positive in my opening week. I had moved from a thicker type of cream which I applied twice daily, but this would often 'sit' on my skin and occasionally not be absorbed, causing flakiness over night. So far on this product I've found the gel I've had no problems, and found that my overnight flakiness for example has mostly disappeared during use. The product has a slight fragrance but isn't strong, and appears to absorb quite well in little time. What I will say is that a small amount goes a very long way during application.

I found this moisturiser made my skin look very good.. I have sensitive skin and eyes but had no problem whatsoever when I used this. It was very good for the skin under my eyes too. I did find it a bit tacky to the touch, but this wasn't a problem. The only down side is that there is no sun protection (SPF) so I would only use it inside the house and would use another for outside, but overall lovely.

I really like this face cream, it is water based and hydrates my face much better than other creams. It has no scent which is perfect for my sensitive skin and feels lightweight. It doesn’t have any spf in it as far as I know, so I do use a separate spf on top, but it’s the best face cream I’ve ever tried.

I have sensitive skin and have tried so many facial moisturisers over the years but they either irritate my skin or can't keep my dry patches moisturised. This is fantastic and a great price. It's super light on my skin, is quickly absorbed, doesn't have a strong fragrance, it keeps my face so soft and doesn't make me blotchy

This is premium but not with the premium price tag. In my opinion as good as Clinique one and I bulk buy it now as my husband and teenage son use it!

I have been a fan of Simple skincare for a while as it's the only thing I can find on the highstreet that doesn't make my skin flare and doesn't break my bank account. I have dehydrated skin, most moisturiser is too thick and creamy so it only succeeds in giving me spots. This Hydrating Gel Cream feels almost watery but it does an excellent job of providing the moisture I need. After using this for a month I can honestly say my skin looks better than it has in 10 years (I'm in my mid thirties). The mild irritation on my cheeks and small closed comedones on my forehead are almost completely gone. The skin around my eyes feels refreshed. I'm using this in combination with the Simple Micellar Water. My only complaint is that the bottles are small and it's too easy to squeeze out too much product. So at the moment each bottle lasts around a month.

It has taken me way too long to fine the right moisturiser for my dry sensitive skin but finally with this one from Simple, it works so well and I have not had any problems with it (so far) and I have been using it for a while. I used to get dry patches on my skin and reactions to perfumed moisturisers, however with this one my skin has been great, with no reactions, no dry patches and it goes well under makeup. So for anyone who has dry sensitive skin, I would very much recommend you try this one!
