Sharp and Great for Detailing
Wow. I do a lot of paper crafting, and I watch a lot of tutorials. Time and time again, these scissors have been highly recommended. I needed a new pair, so I decided to give these a try. When I say I am impressed, I absolutely mean it. They are very pointed and sharp. Perfect for cutting the tiniest of details. Very well made. Sturdy and comfortable to use. My Memaw used to keep her “good” scissors put up and away from all the grandkids. They were off limits and I never understood why. I totally get it now. These are, hands down, my favorite pair of scissors. These have become my “good” scissors. I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for detailing scissors, then these are the ones you’re looking for. I don’t regret this purchase, and I don’t think you will either.

Needed something small and this fit the bill. Very sharp and easy to make tight cuts with.

Sharp & Comfortable Fine Detail Scissors!
Super comfortable, and quite sharp. If you've got the 10-ish bucks to spend on a decent pair of snips for your crafts, go for these ones! I doubt you'll be disappointed. I've used loads of different scissors in my life and these are my new favs. The only bummer is that the listing doesn't show that the scissors are serrated on one blade, maybe it's mentioned in the description but I wanted these anyway. I mostly fussy cut watercolor paper doodles to make cards, and for creative journaling. Watercolor paper is quite thick so I appreciate the maneuverability, thin profile and flexible grips of these snips. These do cut well and maybe the serrated edge adds to accuracy or something but the serrated edge does show on one side of your cut edge so if that matters make sure you test your cuts first and make sure you have your scissors flipped whichever way you prefer. There is a nice tapered point that doesn't leave a huge gash if you do cut to the tip (I rarely do but it's nice knowing I won't have a huge split in my paper if I chose to do so). Highly recommend these if your looking for a comfortable and accurate pair of scissors. (PS the pictures show some of the thickest, most textured paper I own that i fussy cut with these scissors. Paper: Shizen cold/rough press paper 140lb)

Perfect for lefties
Make sure you check the size before you order. This is a small scissors. I bought it for that reason, but the size is not obvious from the pics. Very precision cutting blades. Works well 2 or 3 finger held. SUPER SHARP, will cut paper just by dragging one of the blades down a sheet. Very sharp point. Keep the little blade guard they give you, it has indents that "snap" over the pivots to hold it on.

These are AWESOME!
For fine-detail work, these left-hand scissors are the bomb. I have used them mostly for facial hair-trimming as well as removing those arm bands from blood draws. They are SHARP! The micro-serrations make them hold securely onto what your cutting, and help with increasing the effective sharpness of the blade. This is something I've always had on my Wenger SAKs, and wondered why nobody else used that design. The handles are right-sized and comfortable plastic. Thankfully, they did not use that "felt" rubber that only degrades over time into a sticky inter-galactic goo.

Not as good as Cutter Bees
These are some nice little fussy cutting scissors however I like my Cutter Bees better which seem to make a smoother cut. I compared three different Tim Holtz scissors because I had to do some heavy duty fussy cutting for my holiday cards this year. I started with my Cutter Bees which do an excellent job; however, the handles are so small and aren't comfortable with my arthritic hand. The 5" TH scissors are much more comfortable and the reason I was drawn to them for the big handles; they do get the job done. The 7" detail scissors are comfortable to use too but comparatively don't do as good a job as the 5" detail scissors. I also bought the small recoil scissors and I think they're my favorite but they don't do as good a job as the Cutter Bees, so I'll keep practicing with them because they're very comfortable to use. In summary, Cutter Bees are the best for fussy cutting but the handles are too small. I wish they'd make them with bigger handles. The 5" detail scissors are very good and very comfortable. To avoid the serration on the paper, turn them upside down so the serration will be on the part you're cutting out which goes for the 7" ones as well. The 7" detail scissors didn't work well for me for fussy cutting but are very comfortable. The small recoil scissors are fantastic but really not suitable for super intricate cutting, but like I said I'm going to keep practicing with them because maybe it's my technique.

Excellent left handed scissors
These are my favorite small scissors. They are really made for the left hand. They have a sharp point and cut well. They are serrated, it would be great if a smooth blade was an option. Thanks, Tim Holtz, for thinking of us Lefties! It would be fantastic if all your scissors came in left handed models.

I was hesitant about spending this much on a little pair of scissors, but holy heck, these scissors are AWESOME! They are great for getting into super fine corner details, and are perfect for crafting cards and other projects. “Fussy cutting” is less painful with these little scissors! I absolutely love them! And let me tell you, these are SHARP!!! So please be careful! I would highly recommend these to any serious crafter out there.

I bought these after I saw so many people in the craft community using and enjoying them. And they didn't lie! These scissors does not dissappoint! They are comfortable, cut nicely and I like it that it has a little protector. I don't want any other scissors anymore!
