I use this for measuring foods for cooking and calorie counting. By comparing it with other scales, I think that it tends to be 0.2-0.4g off when measuring amounts below a few hundred grams, and 1-2g off when measuring amounts around 1kg. (I can also just tell by using it several times per day and seeing slight inconsistencies that its error is something like that.) I don't have an appropriate calibration weight to see if calibrating it would improve its accuracy.I use it with rechargeable 9V batteries, which works fine. Another reviewer said that it eats through batteries, but I guess that this person kept their scale on all the time, because I haven't had to recharge the 9V battery after over a month of using it several times per day. The scale's accuracy seems to be the same whether using rechargeable 9Vs, normal 9Vs, or wall power. One annoyance is that it is VERY difficult to get the battery to fit into the compartment just right so that the compartment can be closed, whether using normal 9Vs or rechargeable.I like that it stays on until you turn it off, even on battery power. I like the big weighing platform, and the fact that the screen is offset and at an angle for easy viewing. I like the built-in balancing bubble. It's convenient for me to have a single scale with at least *OK* accuracy over such a large range.It takes 5-10 seconds for the scale to become ready after turning it on, which is a bit long, though not *that* much longer than other scales. The feet of the scale turn very easily and are near the edge of the scale, so I often accidentally spin them and unbalance the scale, which is annoying. The scale feels light, fragile, and cheap; I'd guess based on its overall "feeling" that it'll last me a couple of years before it somehow fails and has to be replaced.It's sufficient for my needs, but not perfect. I think that it's an OK value for the price. I think that whenever I need to replace this one I will go with something higher-quality, though, even if I have to accept a smaller max weight.

I needed a scale for baking, I first bought a cheap and simple one but it only lasted me about a month, in addition I could not weight less than 3 grams which was a huge disappointment. So I bought this CGOLDENWALL scale, it was a huge improvement from the las one and just what I needed, I love the fact that you can choose to either plug it into the electricity or use a 9 volts battery, also it is very easy to use and the precision is amazing, it can switch from 1 gram weight to 5 kg with high precision. It is just what I needed, although it is pricey I would recommend for serious bakers who rely much on weight and would use often, instead of waisting your money on cheap ones with short life span and poor accuracy.

This scale works great. It is accurate within +/- 0.4 grams, which I didn't know before buying.A few months after buying it the scale no longer turned on or off. I contacted the manufacturer and received a response telling me a replacement would be sent right away. I was very relieved as I use it daily for calorie tracking and cooking/baking.Very happy and satisfied!

Scale is impressive. Turns on quickly. Love the scale and everything about it, except for one thing. It eats 9V batteries. I put this in service in my home kitchen on 6/15/20. Today is 6/22/20 and I’m installing the 3rd 9V battery. I’ve since resorted to not using battery power. I simply plug it in the wall. The fact that it doesn’t shut down after sitting idle is actually a good thing at times.

Very accurate. I have a test kitchen where I developed hot sauce flavors. I need repeatedly! I tested this scale with some calibration weights and it’s 100%.

Exactly what we were looking for. We sell large volumes of gold and silver at auction each month so having an accurate higher weight limit scale that does that conversions for us makes catalog so much easier.

Had purchase this scale a few months ago and it suddenly broke after some use. I asked for a replacement. It was upper quick and easy to talk to the rep and got a new one shipped out in a few days. Really like this product and I hope it will last a bit longer this time.Update- had another issue but this time regarding the charger. Great service again no problems whatsoever ever, they sent a replacement very fast.

At first, the scale was difficult to set up. The disadvantage was that the company has no working link with a demonstration video, but searching we were able to locate a video that really helped. Also, I was having trouble with my charger, which is about a year old, and they were quick to replace it for me.. I was very grateful for the kind and courteous service.

We actually ordered these Large Range balances by mistake needing the High Precision one from Great Wall Instruments. Great Wall Instruments has been great to work with and in getting the correct balances ordered. The correct balances have been ordered and on the way to me should be arriving in about 10-14 days. We decided to order these from reading the ease of use, the precision of the measuring and the pricing. The COVID-19 pandemic will delay the use of the balances for our researchers, however I will edit or add another product review once we get using them.
