Bottom line: 1. Excellent product 2. Dry brushing did everything for me (with only a couple of weeks of use) that I've seen claims for. 3. This seller (SpaVerde) has excellent customer service.I have never tried dry brushing but I have very dry skin and have wondered if this would help. I researched different brushes and I decided to try out this set. The price was very competitive with similar products. I have also been making improvements to my skin care regiment and specifically wanted to try out dry brushing my face but wanted both a body brush and a face brush. I wasn't sure about face brushing since facial skin is so delicate. When I received the set it was in a very nice package that would be great as a gift but the face brush seemed a little rough to me. I tried it out anyway, gently at first. My skin has never been so soft or bright and brushing is so relaxing that I want to do it every day (I've been doing every other day to make sure my skin can handle it). I was a little worried that you could overdo it with this. It doesnt hurt but it is definitely getting off the dead skin. But so far I haven't seen any signs I'm overexfoliating (dry patches, redness, sensitivity, etc) and my skin has never looked or felt better. I highly recommend this set.On the customer service side, first off, they provide all the instructions to help you get started in the package and via message. Second, the strap broke on my body brush my third time using it. It was still usable since it also has a detachable handle but just not quite as easy to use. I really looked it over and found that it didn't appear to be poor manufacturing. It just looked like a fluke that the strap was secured a little too far toward the end on this one side. I decided to contact the company to see what would happen. I thought that at the very least it would be somewhat of a hassle to return the defective item or something. I was way wrong. I didn't have to lift a finger besides letting them know. The company shipped out a new set immediately and I had it the next day. Moreover, they apologized and seemed genuinely surprised and concerned that it had broken. This is so rare in customer service these days. I am so happy with this purchase and will definitely buy more as gifts.

I heard about dry brushing for years but I didn't actually look into it until my coworker recommended this SpaVerde set. I wanted to wait a few weeks before reviewing this product because I wanted to see and feel results first. I hope it helps!Right after purchasing this set, I received a thank you email with a how-to guide. The how-to guide is actually very helpful and has a few diagrams showing you how to brush every part of the body. I also watched the YouTube how-to videos which were also helpful.The set arrived on time (Prime shipping) and the packaging is very attractive and ready for gift giving. The brushes are exactly as described and have great craftsmanship- the wood handles are smooth and comfortable/easy to hold, the bristles are high quality natural boar (never buy synthetic for dry brushing), and the whole set is very high quality. The small face brush comes with a small how-to guide (since dry brushing the face is very different than dry brushing the body and you can't interchange brushes). The storage/travel bag is nice quality canvas and will definitely come in handy. The set also came with a coupon for future orders and will be great for gifts.The first time I used the brushes I thought the bristles were a lot more coarse than I expected. This is normal for a first timer. The brushes are not meant to be used with a ton of pressure or like a hair brush. They are meant to be used as an effective exfoliant. It took me a few times to get used to brushing in the right direction over all parts of the body. Once I got used to the right direction and pressure, each time I dry brush becomes quicker (averaging a few minutes total) and more relaxing.Results! Almost immmediately, I noticed my skin becoming smoother and more moisturized. Within weeks I noticed less cellulite. Now I look forward to dry brushing because it has become so relaxing. I dry brush before I shower so all the dead skin just washes down the drain. I am thinking about adding additional dry brushing for whenever I need stress relief. Dry brushing works and this is the best set to buy!

This is a beautiful product with bristles that are soft, yet firm, and feel great on the skin. I purchased it for use in dry-brushing. My order arrived with many loose bristles and, as I brushed it gently, yet firmly, on the palm of my hand to feel it, I was disappointed to experience constant shedding of the bristles. So I sent an email, with a photo of the pile of bristles, to the company. I received an immediate response, and was treated with respect and courtesy. Within the week I received a replacement. This one, too, had a few loose bristles so I brushed my palm with it as before until it stopped. This time there were only three or four, and that is acceptable to me. I particularly loved working with a small, family-owned business, and I recommend this product.
