It is awesome! I don't how many watts the motor is but it is powerful. We use it 3 times a day, everyday with no problems. Best snow cone maker we ever bought and I would recommend to everyone.

Q: Can you put flavored ice in machine? I like to use frozen pink lemonade cubes.

yes!!! I have done this twice making cubes of crystal light and diet soda

Q: Can it be used with regular ice cubs from a standard ice cube tray?

i went through several different ones, and i can say this one is the best for making snow cones. regular ice cubes go in perfect. you will love it.
