I kind of overdid it buying these b/c I am limited in what I will use them in. I later found I have old paintbrushes hanging around. BUT I am not unhappy about having purchased these. The zipper case is quality. I have to retrieve the loop handle out of the casing in order to zip it with the loop handle out. The brushes are laid out by sizing. The palette knife is loose w/the sponge on top of it. It zips up easily. The largest brush was the first one I used. Then handle was a tad loose in the metal band. I figured it would change with use (getting into water) and it did tighten up. I tested the other brushes, I think there was one more that was loose. Otherwise they were fine. I knew of brushes doing this so I didn't report it to the seller (yet?). I have used several of the brushes (some of which I did not have previously). The brushes are very stiff when you first touch them but loosen with use in medium, washing and then they return to the stiff brush state. I noticed tonight, one is soft. I do not put wet items into the case but dry flat or standing on the tip of the handle. I have used the fan styled brush splattering acrylic paint and water colors. Awesome result. (Do not do this in nice clothing or surroundings.) The brushes are numbered sizes 15-1 (left to right). Ah, I noticed two brushes not in their right spot! That explains why number 3 fan brush was getting separated bristles!! I keep wanting to display them out in a nice holder so I can see them but I love the case too much and it stores nicely like a book on a shelf. Something can be stored under the paneled area where the brushes are stored. There are Velcro closures top and middle sections on the backs of these panels for more access. The bottoms appear to be stitched in the outer stitching of the case (which is great, no gaps in stitches, no loose threads). I had a thought and tried standing the case up with the brush heads down but the panels criss-crossed a bit. Maybe with something behind them they could be on a slant? Remember, I'm not an artist who uses paint brushes, I could be missing something here. For the traveling student/artist/crafter I can imagine the case would be a great advantage. Esp. with the storage area under the brushes. Maybe instructions or something could go there? Ok. Time to take out the garbage and recycle. Hope this helps you.

I LOVE these brushes, I made the mistake of purchasing different brushes. They didn't last 2 months. This is the 2nd time purchasing Benicci brushes and I'll purchase again.. The brushes load paint heavy or light, latex and acrylic. I actually used them for acrylic nails when I lost my nail brush. I love the quality, I also love how easy they are to clean. The plastic covers on the smaller brushes are an added benefit. After washing, I place the plastic over the brushes which helps maintain shape. The first set I bought around 2020 (aprox) and still holding up. I wanted a new set because I wanted new, but the older brushes are still amazing. I'm not a professional painter, however, for the types of creating I do, whether painting, decopauge, detailing, these brushes will ALWAYS be my go to for my artwork.

So happy with this purchase. The brushes are exactly what I wanted and the case is such a bonus. Good quality and got it so fast. Don’t miss out on this brush set!!

A lovely assembly of brushes. Work well with watercolour, gouach, acrylic. Have not used with oils but would think will respond appropriately. Have purchased as gifts and all have been happy.

I am very impressed with the delivery and the product! Another impressive thing is the personal thank you card that came with it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before in my purchases with Amazon. And then the personal invitation in the card to call the young family business owners for any reason. Wow, I wish I could order everything from Amazon from this company.
