Dark Chocolate Pecan Caramel Clusters - No-Melt Guarantee (2 Pounds)

I have been looking for high quality DARK chocolate covered 'turtles' for 10 yrs. plus. My goal was significant mounds of half or whole pecans; covered by not gooey, chewy caramel, and covered/ not molded by choc. as dark as possible; all w/ a distinctive butter flavor. To my great surprise, Christopher Elbow's got the technicals right, yet they did not impress me in their flavor. I interpreted that as butter and chocolate with profiles that were not my taste.THESE, however, are terrific. My only wish is that they used the same butter that Enstrom's puts in their terrific choc.-covered almond toffee.( Other products have shown me just how superior is the butter used by Enstrom's.) I purchased 2 pounds of the mixed milk and dark chocolates WITHOUT sea salt. Each 1 pound came in it's own box. Each box had 2 packages which separated the milk from the dark turtles. One box had 7 of the milk and 7 of the dark turtles of various sizes. The sizes varied but I'd say they averaged around the size of a half dollar to a silver dollar. The other box had 8 of each chocolate type.Each Turtle had an excellent quantity of pecans which didn't have a bitter or stale taste. The Carmel was smooth, soft and buttery and was not a dominant feature. The Chocolate didn't taste waxy and was also smooth or overly sweet. None arrived melted or in clumps.I did price it out...... for the 2 pounds ( which came to 30 turtles) at $56.99 and free shipping, each turtle priced out at $1.90 each. A bit pricey I think when compared to say a Godiva truffle at $2.00 each. Would I buy these again.... I don't know. I'm not blown away, but they are good.Chocolates arrived 5 days business days after ordered. Was shipped via USPS 3 Day Priority Mail from Minnesota

Wow, what an amazing seller and chocolate maker! The package arrived with the mail today and was left at the rural mailbox in my remote part of Montana. The temperature was well above average at 85 today. Because of the spotty cell service I didn't see that it was delivered until 11PM. It was shipped with frozen packaging that was of course done doing its job long before I picked it up. The chocolate was so well packaged that it was in perfect condition with no melting and no loss of flavor. Keep it up folks, you go the extra mile for sure!

I ordered these chocolates for my daughter's birthday. She is stationed overseas on a Navy ship. Not only did the candy arrive in perfect condition but this is what she had to say,"Mom, I just got the packages and card!! Thank you so much. Oh my, oh dear, oh wow! These are beyond delicious, perfectly chewy with a dark chocolate coating and crispy pecans. The combination of caramel, pecans and dark chocolate is simply heavenly! They are very fresh and shall I say dangerous? Need I say more?

I'm about to order maybe my fifth double order. I've tried many turtles, but these are by far these best. I've even got my niece hooked on these wonderful, flavorful, fulfilling turtles. They are chocked full of pecans, gooey-ooey rich, chewy caramel, and exquisite dark chocolate. Oh, did I say how much I LOVE these turtles?

These dark chocolate caramel pecan turtles are absolutely the best chocolate treat I have ever had! I ordered 2 pounds on june 25th and I just finished eating them today. I do not share them and I frequently eat them in place of meals.
