What is wrong w this bottle?
Did I get a bunk batch of UV resin? I have purchased this same brand before, just smaller bottle. This time I opted for the larger bottle.IT WILL NOT SET UP!Yesterday I thought it was a fluke. Like a wth kinda fluke. Today I tried again. Pouring directly on top of a project, not even in a mold, after 2 minutes under the UV light, it wasn’t cured. I ended up trying for up to half an hour- nope.Left it alone for a bit then out the light over it again while I got busy. I remembered almost an hour later - still wet, sticky, tacky. The same consistency it was this morning after the initial 2 minutes under the light. No dyes, micas, colorants, pigments, etc. just plain UV resin that will not set up in a 74°F room. Hell, my casting resin is more set than the UV and I poured it last. Kinda ticked over here- especially because it is past the return window time frame.

Dose not dry hard
It clames to dry hard bot if its a small pece it is still bendable. Allso some of my larger projects are still tacky, this stuff dose NOT work with a uv light, u have to put it out side i derect sun light with no clouds to work, well mostly.

Sets up super nice
I've found with a few extra minutes of cure time (under Uv) this is a very good product!

Best on very sunny days
Very pleased will be ordering more.Make sure you have everything the way you want it if you're using sunlight, two steps outside before even setting it down the top was almost completely cured, still a little soft but otherwise couldn't pierce it without extreme effort.

OK for doming but the smell is absolutely horrible.
Ok, believe it or not I actually do prefer this uv resin for doming. I do NOT like the smell, but I do have a crankin uv light I got from aliexpress (I have another I got from amazon but for some reason I prefer the other light). I would not bother using this product for your resin projects other than doming. This stuff does a good job because of how thick it is. So just use fans to blow the stench from you. Happy crafting!

Ive had better
This resin cures slowly. Other UV Resins i have used cured rather quickly under a modest UV flashlight. I used a UV flashlight and a 30 watt LED UV light and it takes about 1 to 2 minutes to harden and it will still feel slightly rubbery or soft for another 2 to 3 minutes. It has a moderate odor that smells like the holiday pine scent my grandmother used to spray on her artificial tree. But it does work.

Brilliant for a fast turnover
Full disclosure: this is the first uv resin I’ve ever used, so I have nothing to compare it to.The product is simple enough to use, just snip off the tip of the bottle & you’re good to go.The resin seems quite thick, so to get thin layers, it’s advisable to carefully squeeze out a very small amount & spread it around your mould with a toothpick, before using a uv light (in my case, a uv torch) to cure it.The resin does smoke a little during curing, & it does have a distinctive smell to it, but it’s by no means overwhelming (& I’m really sensitive to smells, particularly chemical ones) thankfully the odour dissipates very quickly & doesn’t seem to linger.Despite working with very thin layers, the resin still feels tacky after curing (this seems to be a common theme across all brands) it does NOT mean the piece hasn’t cured properly, all you need to do is rub over with some isopropyl alcohol & the sticky residue is easily removed, leaving a nice, smooth, glossy finish. The only other slight issue I have with this resin (again, this seems to affect all brands) is that there is a small amount of shrinkage once it’s cured. As you can see from my photo, the resin heart I made is slightly too small for the bezel it’s supposed to fit, leaving a bit of a gap around the margin of the piece. I think this is something that I’ll be able to improve upon with a bit more experience & I can probably fill the gap with more resin & dome the piece a bit more in the process. If you’re wanting your resin to fit your mould exactly without any shrinkage, I’m guessing the only way to achieve that would be to use the two part epoxy resins, which obviously have a longer curing period.I’m pretty happy with this resin, it’s fairly easy to work with, cures quickly, & is crystal clear, like it says. For impatient people like me, uv resin seems to be the go to product for fast production, even taking into account having to work & cure several layers, & cleaning off any residue at the end, it still works out infinitely quicker than a two part epoxy resin, which needs a good 24hrs curing time.Compared to other brands, I think this bottle is very competitively priced, especially given the amount you get; uv resin is quite expensive anyway as you’re paying for the convenience of not having to mix it, & the fast curing time. I think it’s the perfect product for crafters who need to produce their products to a tight deadline, so it’s definitely something to have on hand for any last minute orders that need to be fulfilled quickly. If time is not an issue, it’s probably more cost effective to use a two part epoxy resin, which tend to come in larger pack sizes at a reduced price.I’m very satisfied with the product, & I would happily purchase it again.

Smell
I bought a bottle of this resin and was so pleased with it, yes a little tacky after curing, but just popped it back under the lamp for longer and was brilliant, so, I ordered another bottle, what a mistake that was! Oh my goodness, the smell of garlic, I could smell something before I opened the box, when I took the lid off, I was nearly sick, don’t get me wrong I love garlic, but this was so unbearable it stank the house out, it gave off some awful fumes which gave me a headache and was concerned with what was in it!! I tried the resin to see if it cured and there were a few long fibres in it!!!!!. You maybe lucky to have one like my first bottle. I wish I could use this again but will not trust now. I sent the resin back and had a refund. Hope this helps.

Good resin
Great stuff, I always go back to this one as it's the right consistency. Also low odour compared to others that I've had to throw away due to the fumes. The resin lasts a long time and cures very well to clear under a UV nail light, big type for full hand. Glitters, mica powders and resin colour mix in well although take a little longer to cure.

Smells awful.
This is hideous to work with. Thickness is a 5 star! This is like using superglue. I used my heat gun to warm up the resin to mix in pigments but just pouring it from the bottle took an age. This had to be the most toxic smelling resin I've come across. Within 5 minutes I had a headache which luckily i’ve never encountered when using other UV resin. I had my door open but my entire house smells of this stuff now.It shrinks badly as well. The corners on my coaster had curled in so it wont sit flat until I sand it.I’ll go back to using my more expensive resin and wont be tempted by a cheaper one in a hurry.

Outrageously short
There seemed to be a LOT of air in the bottle I ordered, so I improvised a cardboard dip-stick and measured it...It wasn`t even half-full, - See photo.Buyer beware.
