My 5 year old Brother HL-L3270CDW printer has always worked well. But recently it started printing pages with red lines from top to bottom and sometimes even small splotches of reddish color. Troubleshooting pointed to the magenta cartridge and drum. I put in a new magenta cartridge and followed instructions to clean the drum - but it didn't solve the problem.I ran a status report on my printer. It showed that all four drums had about 40% remaining expected useful life. I decided to replace the magenta drum. After online shopping, I ordered this set of four drums.I installed the magenta drum - and, now there are no more pages printing with stray red lines or blotches. At some point I'm sure I'll eventually install the other three replacement drums. But because the original ones seem to have a good bit of expected useful life remaining, I won't do it now.These drums came with a brochure with instructions on resetting the drum counter - that worked on the first try. In my experience, any procedures relating to printer setup and maintenance, that work on first try, are pleasant surprises.

I purchased this set of drums to initially replace the missing black drum for a used color printer I recently purchased. For the price, I purchased this set just in case the other drums were bad instead of buying just a black replacement. So far I've only used the black drum and it works great.

none of the drums have ever worked out of the box. worst experience ever. unfortunately, I didn't realize it was the drum units and went about replacing many other parts of the machine. The printer has been sitting like a brick for the last year. This is the second time I have tried ordering from EZInk. The other order I placed from them was for ink toner. in that order, out of four toner cartridges, only three worked. I've never encountered so many problems with a product from a single manufacturer.

I use E-Z Ink toner cartridges on my MFC-L3770CDW printer all the time, but recently my (OEM) drum units were nearing the end of their life.Also, I was getting light splotches on printouts, which I had attributed to the drum units.It turns out that it wasn't the drum unit but a still relatively new black toner cartridge (not E-Z Ink though).Regardless, with a new toner cartridge and these new drum units, printouts look good, both b/w and color.Saved quite a bit too over OEM, so pretty happy. Looks like I should consistently get E-Z Ink toners!

I got these for my Brother MFC-L3770 laser printer because our OEM drums were "used up" after almost 4 years of constant use. Since the warranty was long-since expired, I decided to try to save some money on these drums and go "generic" -- and it worked to an extent.Easily replaced (you pull them out every time you change toner cartridges -- they're the "frame" the toner cartridge sits in). I was able to put the toner cartridges in the new drum sets; I did not have to install new toner at the same time.The machine had problems seeing the Yellow toner (it said the yellow was empty), but saw all the others. I had to remove and reinstall the yellow toner several times before it recognized that the cartridge had a 60 percent life left in it.After installing the drums, I had to reset the drum counters, one by one, with great instructions on how to do this in the mini-manual that came with the drums (every brand and type of machine that these are compatible with had its own particular instruction set spelled out with the make and model listed -- wonderful, took all the guesswork out of it for me!).The bottom line -- I now have 100% life showing in the drums report on my printer, and my 4 year old printer is still ready to do a great job of printing for me.

Good product, no need to spend money on buying OEM for quality prints. This product helps to save lots of money. I sure recommend it for the Brother Laser printer HL-L3290CDW.
