This blanket is excellent. After having a decent weighted blanket from Big Lots, I realized that there was no way to clean it. I could not get over the fact that it was “surface clean only,” and it did not have loops to add a cover to it. Also, according to charts, it’s suggested that I use a 17 pound blanket, and what I had was 15. Through all this covid stuff, no longer being able to separate work and home, and my kickboxing gym being closed, I was stressed and not sleeping well. After looking at a lot of blankets on Amazon, and reading a lot of reviews, I settle on this one.It’s soft. Those two extra pounds are noticeable! The smaller quilt distributes the weight evenly. It’s wider and longer, which covers me more. It has the loops for using a duvet cover, but is also machine washable (which is a plus for me!). Although I haven’t washed it yet, this is my main reason for purchasing it his blanket, as I can assure myself that the blanket is clean if it’s going to lay so close to my body. I can also wash off any sweat, food crumbs, etc. Truly the biggest plus for me.Everything about this blanket is great, but I’m still not getting the sleep I hoped for. I’m still trying to get used to the heavier weight, and trying to adapt to using the blanket in the summer. If I could, I would recommend that anyone thinking about investing in ANY weighted blanket purchase one during colder months. Where I live, it’s freaking hot right now. So, I end up either throwing it off my body in the middle of the night, placing it on the lower half of me only, or poking my limbs out. This is no fault of the blanket! It’s all due to the fact that it remains so hot outside at night, and I already run hot, that so much of my own body heat gets trapped and makes me uncomfortable. Its a ditch oven for me at night. It would have been wise to purchase this in November, and get used to it during the cold months, especially since I am adding two extra pounds on top of me.

This weighted blanket its very comfortable. I encourage anyone wants a good nights rest to try this blanket out. You'll love it! I know I do.

I love the quilted factor and the coolness of the blanket, no matter the temperature. However, I found it sooo heavy that I could barely move it around. I’m no super weakling, even my body building hubby agrees!I hope you REALLY want to sleep. Because, it will give you plenty of restful dream time! Sometimes too much!

I have fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis. The weight definitely helps me relax and get a comfortable nights sleep. It’s heavy so washing in a commercial machine is recommended.

Love the 17 lbs. option this blanket has. I haven't tried 15 or 20, but I am happy enough with this choice that I won't need to experiment any more.

Ordered because other reviews had said it helped them. I have issues with insomnia from working on call in the healthcare field. Hours vary depending on my shifts and when we get called in. Sometimes I am anxious. I hardly ever sleep over 2 hours a night. With this blanket I have slept for at least 5 hours every time I sleep. Even if I am on call and anxious. It’s amazing

Bought as a gift for my sleep deprived daughter-in-law. Searched online and found the Warm Hug blanket. It had so many positive reviews; I decided to order it for her. It arrived promptly and best of all, she had a good night's sleep. She loves it. Works better and more naturally than sleep medication.
