Q: Does the end of pole B be with the black screw tip screw into Pole A?

HI, The black tip at end of pole screws into the basket handle. With the adjustable version, the lower pole slides into the pole with the handle and is held in place and adjusts with the flip lever. Thanks Team Sand Dipper

Q: round vs square Scoop? Will be using in a circular litter box that has a plant over it so it's a covered round box. Which would work best?

I recommend a round scooper for a round kitty litter box. I would visit the cooking section and look at the round deep fat fryer wire baskets with a standard length handle. Having said that litter is often over looked. Try different kinds, brands. Some create dust, others are heavy (particularly noticeable with round scoops and heavy litter). Most litter scoops sort of nest in a large can or bucket. It is not uncommon to have 3 or more. Depending on number of different cats , changes of litter, etc.

Q: Has anyone had a sturdy one that didnt break? I see some reviews say the handle comes off

I have used this scooper for 3 years (with 3 cats). It is very sturdy. The metal handle is "full tang" - unlike other scoopers where the metal does not go through the flimsy rubber hand grip.
