Dollar for dollar if you’re looking for a diy custom design then stringers are definitely the way to go. Seamless to me means the right color, length and quality. You'll probably need to buy some extra zip cord and vampire connectors as well. Zip cord is the wire that's between the light sockets and vampire connectors are inline or end of the line push on male or female connectors. I bought some at Ace Hardware.Shopping list: Stringers, zip cord, Vampire connectors, gutter/roof shingle light holders, maybe a few zip ties and bulbs. The best advice I can give is to have a plan, take good measurements and draw it out on paper. Decide where you want to plug your lights in and make sure all your stringers, zip cords, and connectors are in the right direction to be plugged in. The light display I made is a simple gutter and roofline display. I did it on a colonial two-story house with a full covered front porch and garage (front half and sides of house only) with about 200 feet of stringers and about 30 feet of zip cord all connected and plugged into one GFI receptacle on the backside of my house and controlled with Amazon Alexa. Absolutely seamless, straight and Virtually invisible in the daytime all because there's nothing extra. Also Because there’s nothing extra their extremely easy to put up, take down and store. And because their custom, it's easy to change bulb type, colors or even add to the design.Custom, seamless, professional and will only fit this house. So, when or if I ever sell my home these lights will come with it. I'm just a normal guy so if I can do it you can to.

Used this stringer to create custom hangable sections for my house. Had to remove a couple of the sockets and they are somewhat brittle but easily replaceable if needed. Used this xmas season and so far still good to go.

I installed 5 100' strands of these with red green C9 LED this week (NOV 2022) on my 36'x160' barn and house. wire and sockets seem durable and well made, commercial type i expect to last for years. easy to cut and add your own ends. i am very happy for the cost! hopefully they last a few years at least.

Thicker gauge wire and light sockets that hold C9 LED bulbs. Ordered red and green bulbs and I am ready for Christmas 2024. Loved how this allowed me to be creative. Exchanged emails with the manufacturer about proper use for safety. Ordered 3 of these cords.

Light strands were built well. I purchased 2 sets of 100 and every E17 socket worked, wire used was easy to cut and attach adapters to. Will definitely purchase again from this company
