Bought these to replace the wands on my Electrolux EL6988 canister vacuum; they fit perfectly on the hand-held end of the hose assembly, and the floor brush/tool fits perfectly over the end of the wand. Of course they can only be used for suction vacuuming; you would need the regular wired wands to use the power head, but because those wired wands are now hard to find, I decided to preserve them by using these extension wands as most of the vacuuming I do is with the floor brush/tool. Can't beat the price; they are plastic so time will tell how long they last. They should work with any canister vacuum that has 1 1/4" ID/OD connections.

Works great and is better material than the one I had originally.

Fits perfect on my shark vacuum but had to order pole extender-also available on Amazon. Works great on my hardwood floors!

Good material. The fit is a little loose but is easily fixed by cinching it with wire ties.

I bought this adapter with All Parts "under fridge hose extension" and while this adapter fit the All Parts hose extension... the 1-3/8 end was the exact measurements of my 2 vacuums hoses and wands so it did not work with my vacuums. But I reached out to All Parts and they responded quickly and worked with me on an adapter that might work with my vacuums...and sure enough they shipped out another adapter right away and it worked with both their under fridge extension and both my vacuums. This company has great customer service and products are US made..so altho this extension didn't fit my vacuums I gave 5 starts because the replacement adapter did fit perfectly (replacement adapter was a type of gradual size adapter), and this company is awesome! In the pic the adapter bottoms are the ends that fit in All Parts under fridge hose, the top ends are what fit our vacuum hoses, the adapter on the right is the one I ordered off Amazon the top was same size as my vacuum hose..the adapter on the left is what All Parts sent me when I contacted them about the issue. The one on the left: the top part is tapered so it fits inside my vacuum hose and because it is tapered it ends up fitting when they hit the same size on each end.

This attachment has an EXTERNAL DIAMETER of 1 3/8" which is the critical measurement for my vacuum because my Bissell Powerforce Model 1398 hose INTERNAL DIAMETER into where the hose would insert is also 1 3/8" meaning it WON'T FIT. My other hose attachment that came with the vacuum has an EXTERNAL DIAMETER of 1 5/16" which is 1/16" smaller than this attachment, allowing it to fit inside the hose. Seems like a good product other than it does not fit my vacuum.

Product page specifically says "Compatible with 1.25" vacuum hose." I carefully measured my Bissell hose, as well as its extension tube, and both are 1.25", so I expected it to fit. As you can see from the photo, the Bissell tube sits directly flush on top of this vacuum attachment, and so the attachment will not insert into the tube or the hose. I should have read the 1-star reviews where other people noted this problem. I also failed to notice that the seller does not offer a free return. It costs a little over $5.00 to return this product that is the seller's fault that it does not fit. I do not recommend this attachment.

Good price compared to other similar brushes. And a perfect fit on my vacuum hose. Works great for grooming dogs and horses
