US Weight Tailgater Canopy Weights with No-Pinch Design for Easy, Safe Installation, and Removal to Secure Tents, Canopies, and Umbrellas at Outdoor Events

I've bought these multiple times now.I'm a vendor and use 50lbs per leg on my tents, however carrying 50lbs is a challenge for me. These are perfect because I can move them 10 or 20lbs at a time.You want to make sure that you stagger the direction of the opening where it slides on the legs otherwise the wind can push your tent legs right out of them.When installed properly, they're excellent.

I bought two sets of these to help hold down our canopy at markets we sell at. Having two of the weights per canopy leg allows you to fully surround the canopy leg so no matter which direction the wind blows, there is a weight there, and that is 20 pounds of weight per leg with having two sets. I don't think one set would perform as well. They have bumps and holes like a Lego so one fits right on top of the other and allows for this kind of setup.The plastic on these is very slippery. It is like they are coated with something. When we set up our canopy on pavement, these things slid around easily. They also left some kind of slippery feeling on my hands from handling them. If you have ever used a product called Armor All to protect the interior of your car, or to shine your wheels, it has that same feeling to it.They come with a strap and buckle to carry them around. It's almost useless though because the buckle doesn't have the piece that keeps the strap from sliding out so if you don't hold both the strap and the loose end of the strap while carrying these, they will slip out and fall all over the place, which has happened to me a few times. Especially because they are so slippery with whatever they are coated with.Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I may try to clean them with some soap and water to remove that residue and find a different strap to carry them with. I enjoy not having to have a bucket or cinder block with a bungee cord strapped to it to hold down my canopy. This worked pretty well in breezy conditions.

I was sick of using the sand bag weights so upgraded to these. So easy to transport with the strap that goes around them. We use our tent every weekend at art shows and these are working nicely.

Light to medium wind no issue get 2 sets

These have been very good weights. I doubled up on each tent leg because of previous bad experience with a tent flying through the air in a bad storm. We had lots of wind this last weekend and the tent didn’t move. For the first time in a long time I didn’t have to worry about the tent, they are great. The only down side is the carrying/fastening straps. They don’t stay closed, they begin to slide open and 80 lbs on you foot is very painful. They don’t stay closed, wish they did. These weights are difficult to carry without the strap.

40 lb weights, very well made, no issues. I use it for my new tent that I bought here on Amazon. It holds it down even in 30 MPH winds. No issues at all. I use 2 weights per leg. These come with 4 weights each box. I bought 2 boxes. Now my tent is held down with 80lbs. No way will this blow over like the last one. They fit around the tent poles perfectly.

These are good weights. They seem well made. My order came in 4 boxes of 4 weights each. 1 of the 4 boxes had clearly been used (dirty, wet) and the strap was not in the box. I don't mind that they were used, they'll get dirty when I use them anyway, but I need the missing strap. I cannot find an email or phone number anywhere to call and report this to the seller so I'm forced to leave it here and hope someone reads it. Minus 1 star for quality control.
