The candles are perfect. They look realistic, battery life is fantastic. The remote makes it easy to set the timer on all of them for the number of hrs you like . I put one in every window, and 2 on the fireplace mantle, and they really set a nice mood for the holidays. I got 2 sets, and plan to keep them out all year long. Definitely well worth the purchase. I am very happy with them.

The color is warm, the flickering option is nice and subtle, and the dimming is useful. The timers work like a charm. We assembled all of ours on a table and set the timers at the same time before putting them in place in our various windows. Lovely and WAY less expensive than many other options.

Perfect candles for your window at Christmas! I love that you can set it up to go on at a certain time for a certain number of hours and it totally works with the remote! Also bright enough to see outside. It also has a "flicker" setting so it looks like a real candle! Not too expensive either. Glad I bought them!

Admittedly, first impressions weren't great. The candle bases are cheap lightweight silver-colored plastic (big downgrade from the real brass base on the old electric candles these are replacing). However, once assembled the candles do look pretty, and I love the convenience they offer -- no need to deal with finding outlets or extension cords to plug them in since they're battery operated, and the timer feature is sweet (once set up they'll automatically turn on and off, compared to my old candles that had to be turned on and off individually). The LED bulbs also stay cool to the touch, which is a plus. It's too early to tell how long the batteries will last, or how durable these candles will be, but for now I'm happy with the purchase.Tips: Order/buy sufficient AA batteries (2 per candle). Product packaging is a little flimsy, but assembly is easy. Be sure to remove the plastic tab from the remote control before "programming" the candles, and set your timer and light options by pressing the desired button(s) at the candles (lined up in a group) before distributing the candles around your house. The suction cups are small; they work best if moistened slightly, but they don't work with every window type. I'd recommend programming your candles around the time of day that you'd like them to illuminate because you can't set an on/off time of day, but rather you specify whether you want them on for 4/6/8 hours from the time you press and hold the button on the remote. For example, I programmed mine around 4:30 pm and selected 6 hours, now each day they all automatically turn on at 4:30 and off at 10:30.

Like most of us, I order things from Amazon all the time, and this is the first review I have ever written. I feel compelled to let others know how great these candles are! they look great with the silver bases, much nicer than gold in my opinion. They are plastic but still look like nice quality. They come with batteries which most others don’t. The lights can be flickering or still via the remote. The remote has an 8:hour or 4 hour feature to choose how long you want your candles to be on for each day on a 24 hour cycle. I recommend getting the batteries all in place and then initially setting all your candles on one table at the time of day you want them to turn on, then use the remote to set them for 4 hours or 8:hours per day. Be sure to point the remote at each candle enough so that each candle flickers off/on when you push the 4 or 8 hour button. Then you can place the candles around your home and they will turn on the next day at the hour you programmed them that day and stay on for 4 or 8 hours, whichever you chose. The lights are an orange-yellow color, similar to a real flame. No cords, no action needed after the initial set up. We are very happy with these candles and wanted to let others know how great they are.

I just wanna start off by saying before I broke down & bought these, I was using window lights my grandma had gave me from the 70’s that still had fuses in them. I plugged them in this year & the fuses blew in every single one 😅 SO, I found these, bought them, they come in a set of 6, but only 5 of mine worked. You need 2 AA batteries for each one but listen, I forget to turn these things off during the day so they have been going non stop since I bought them for 2.5 weeks & I’m impressed. From my driveway, they look like actual candles, easy to use, set up, & it comes with a remote! Just buy them, you won’t be sorry. I just hope all 6 of yours work!

So far this has been a great item. I haven’t used the timer function. But I have used the remote control and it’s very nice little add-on. I bought two sets of six. Both came with a remote. But you can use one of the remotes to control both sets. I use the flicker feature all the time and it looks very realistic. The brightness is adequate enough. I can’t comment on battery life because I haven’t had them long enough. But I bought some Amazon AA batteries at what I thought was a reasonable price and am using those. I wanted to put these in a window so the suction cup with clip feature is very nice also. When the holidays are over and I want to put them around the house, then the candleholders that came with them will come in handy.
