Excellent traps
These traps are easy to set and are solidly made. They work well and I’ve a few less moles destroying my garden.

Value for money but may not be totally effective...
There are 12 traps in the pack, which appeared to be value for money at the time of purchase. In some ways they are also effective: by the time i finished setting all 12 traps on the day that they were delivered, I had my first mole. However, maybe i had not set it correctly or maybe the spring isnt strong enough but the mole was still alive. Ill experiment with different arrangements for setting the trap, to see if that makes a difference, but i guess if you use these, you will need to check frequently in order to reduce any possible suffering to a minimum.

Worked a treat....
I had 3 traps originally and used without any success. Bought these 12 that are stronger than my 15 year old traps and set them all out. Within a day had caught a mole, day three another and day five the 3rd one. No more mole hills since and no more moles caught, hopefully that is it for now. Putting out 15 traps for me really made a diffrence as I have so many hills and runs there was more chance of finding an active one. Method used, places in a mole hill for a day or two to mask any smells, using gloves and a skewer prodded between holes to find the runs, cut out a neat hole with a large knife and set the traps with a pile of earth ontop.

The traps work well but...
I have mixed feelings about these. The more I read about these wonderful little animals the more guilty I feel about killing them. The traps work very well once you locate an active mole run. I waited too long before trapping as a last resort but the damage they were causing eventually amounted to a wheelbarrow of soil a day. Overall, the traps kill instantly, are simple to use and appear well made enough to last if that's a positive attribute?

Used correctly, they work well
I bought these to clear the moles that were peppering my garden with holes. They do work, but to be effective they need to be placed in the main tunnels. I wasted time thinking I would just place these inside excavated molehills, until I realised these were side shafts that were often closed off themselves. Once I got the mole-run finder from the same company and discovered the underground network of tunnels, I planted all of these traps and within a few days had caught five or six moles and that stopped the devastation full-stop. I assumed it was dozens of moles but in reality one or two can cause a lot of damage. I also got little marker flags as some tunnels run deep and the trap is fully underground, easily lost. I should add that these traps do not slice the mole, it breaks their necks, killing them instantly. So the mole looks a bit s-shaped, but that is all. So disposal is not gory and the traps are instantly reusable.

Ho fatto altri 2 ordini x altri 24.
