IF you buy this for a standard cart to upgrade from the 250 watt motor, you will need to buy a new sprocket if you intend to use your stock chain. This comes with a sprocket for a T8 chain instead of #25 like on the stock cart. Make sure you buy a sprocket for a 10MM shaft. The stock cart motor is an 8MM shaft so you cannot reuse that sprocket. You can easily overvolt this motor to 48V, just make sure you get a 48V controller as well or you will not be delivering full power to the motor. Good luck modders!

Just pay attention to what location wires go in terminal. Son installed and got them backwards and it went backwards lol
