Faraday Box Vintage Faraday Key Fob Protector Cage RFID Signal Blocking Box Privacy Protection - Gray - 1 Pack - Compatible with Cars

After we began seeing cars in our Northern Virginia neighborhood rifled by using exposed remote key fobs, I searched for an attractive faraday box that wouldn't seem out-of-place in a living room that also absolutely works. This is the one! Using a nice quality grey suede-like material, it is the perfect size for 1-3 sets of keys, enough for two cars for sure. Like many, I have fully tested this before deploying, and it absolutely worked. My car will not open when the keys are in the box, even if the box with keys are placed next to the car. Very effective. The only caveat is the box MUST BE CLOSED for this to fully work.The build quality is not superlative, but at a little over $20 I didn't expect that. I am absolutely happy with the item and would recommend it to others who seek a way to secure their car and add some order to a daily-carry item: Car fobs/keys.

This is the second attempt at a faraday box, the first one from a different seller did not work and we ended up lining it with tin foil to block the signal. This one worked as expected, the interior liner is twice as thick as the other box and the material feels durable and of good quality. Most importantly I was unable to unlock either of our cars with both sets of keys inside the box and the box in my hand. I even tried touching the handle of the door with the box to make direct contact as I pressed the unlock button on the door handle and the door remained locked. Always nice to find an item that works as advertised online.

I needed something which I would leave on my desk, blocking the RF signal. The box does just that. Testing the RF blocking, I dropped the key in the box, walked outside to the car, and the key was not detected by the car. Excellent. An all 5 rating wasn't given as the lid only partially opens. Originally I thought it was just stiff being new, but no, it only opens to about a 45 degree angle. Other than that, the product works.

I bought this after my coworker woke up in the middle of the night to a thief rummaging through her car, having somehow amplified her key's signal (the key was in the house) to trick the car into unlocking. Thus, I learned about this potential weakness, and the need to store such keys in Faraday boxes like this one.It's a cute little box, and I just tested it, and it works as described. Car keys in the box with the lid closed, and the car won't unlock. Lid open, car unlocks. Very cool! I also like the look of it--like a little jewelry box, and easily fits two sets of keys. Would recommend!

This box DOESN'T block Bluetooth or WiFi, I didn't test RFID because I have no way of testing it but I won't take the risk of having a nice looking box just being there and not doing what it supposed to. Made in China, what can you expect? Box looks nice from the outside but I can already tell it won't last too long, when you close it, edges are rubbing really hard into each other and they will start ripping in a very short time. I can see already white spots right on the edge, it's already loosing its quality. I DON'T recommend this item, looks somewhere else.

The box works as advertised and looks great, but the metal clasp that secures the box shut broke within minutes of receiving it.

This is a very well made, precision built, good looking key box. While it comes with a nice lid latch, I removed it for uninhibited access. The lid fits so precisely, the latch is not required to keep it shut. I positioned the box with my key FOB in it just outside the drivers door and car could not detect the FOB. The inside dimensions are 4-3/4" x 3-1/4 providing room for multiple key FOBs. The quality is excellent for the price.

This box is more beautiful in person. I was very sad that it didn't fit my phone. If you want this for your keys, you'll love it. I was hesitant because it's synthetic, but it feels very good. High quality synthetic.

This box has a nice appearance, and thick walls. Haven't tested it yet for RFID. Its a bit small so it's only meant for keys. Too small for a phone, not that I use it for that. I didn't read the dimensions so my own fault. I think its a bit pricy but doesn't look great in the front hallway.

普通に使えます

思っていたより小さかったので開け閉めするのがやりにくいですが、オートキーの反応は入れれば遮断されているのできっちり仕事してくれています。部屋の雰囲気に合わせて購入したので気に入っております。

車は40系アルファード。キーを箱に入れ金具でロック。車に近づくと室内灯が点灯し嫌な予感。案の定、ドアレバーを握るとあっさりと解錠。外箱を廃棄したので返品不可でゴミ箱へ直行となりました。デザインが良かっただけに残念でした・・・
