Q: Is this a 3M product?

This is NOT 3M. It seems most of the people selling this type of product that is not a big name brand has decided to make it look like 3M but just showing enough of the M to make our brains think it is 3M. I personally find this disingenuous and slightly dishonest although it may be a good selling tactic. This listing is actually one of the more honest/tame listings. I saw another one that had the whole 3M in the pics and the tape actually says 3M on the product customers received

Q: Would you mount the silicone seal strip outside the door or inside?

I used it for inside. But I'm sure it will work outside too.

Q: Can this product seal all around the door?

I attached it to the inside of the door it seems to work well. I cut around the hinges and it stopped all drafts coming in.Purchased the clear and have had no problems.Have no problems with it sticking Had to waste the first 6 inches to figure out how to use it but once i did it was a breeze to to put on.My house is over 100 yrs old and was sick of the drafts around all the doors and had tried everything to stop it .Prices were double at other places.Have nothing but good thing to say about it

I would not. the adhesive is not strong enough
