Scalze Mechanical Metronome for Musical Instruments

This is supposed to be a metronome, and as a metronome it works just like it should. I've found when I use it I get hypnotized by it; if it ever gains sentience, I'm in trouble.

This was packaged very well and shipped quickly! Additionally, the metronome is sleek in design and (as should be) very easy to use. As far as the use of the metronome: the tempo clicks are loud, which is just fine as one wants to hear it over the notes of the piano; the cover is easy to remove and re-attach; and the small, what I assume to be an activation box on the bottom, was also a cinch to pull off and put back. All-in-all a great little product that works exactly like it should! I love it!

Works as described. The only feedback I could offer is to put the instructions on a separate paper from the box. We threw the box away and the instructions were printed on the box and not on anything else.

This is my first mechancal metronome. In my opinion, it is far superior in sound and aesthetics to the digital version in my guitar tuner or keyboard. It was easy to unpack and to get started, especially after reading the Q&A on the Amazon site. The company solicited feedback from me and one enhanceent might be to use a larger font for the instructons on the box. Price was good, too

The knob to change the number of beats broke off in transit (I assume), which I think is more due to the cheap plastic it's made out of than the packaging on the metronome itself. Other than that, I love the "old-fashioned" look!

This is a nice looking metronome that's right for me because I like winding it up, and it has a robust volume. The volume can be made louder by placing it on a hard surfaced desk or table. The volume can be softened by placing it on a folded washcloth, covering it with an easy-fitting box, or placing it at a distance, none of which I do.

The metronome is working just fine and I use it daily for my piano practicing. I showed it to my teacher since I couldn't get the wand to work. He was able to release the plug on the bottom which we assume was for stability in shipping. You might consider that information on the instructions for beginners like me.

Love it. I'm an adult cello student who needs a lot of help keeping the beat. Meets my expectations.
