Not for those with mental health disorders
Do not take these if you have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder etc. A holistic practitioner suggested these for gut health. A week into taking them I started having constant irritability and severe anxiety. Turns out these are possible side effects if your GABA receptors don’t work properly. I’ve discontinued them and I’m hoping to return to normal. I haven’t had anxiety for years until I started taking these. Google Glutamine and anxiety for more detailed information.
