I used these to split rusted nuts. Each tool was able to get roughly one nut before it broke. The little screw that prevents the cutting piece from spinning seems to be the weak spot. I would not buy these again and would look to a different manufacturer next time.

The item arrived, and the inside of the case was torn apparently from movement during shipment. There was no visible damage to the tool. I tried this on a nut that is about 1-1/8". It fit easily into the largest tool in the set. Prior to trying this, I had attempted to get the nut off by heating, eventually until it was red from the heat, so any hardening this nut may have had was gone.The attached pictures show that the nut had as much effect on the tool as the tool did on the nut - which is still firmly in place. The seller has contacted me in the mistaken belief that somehow the tool was not used correctly. They do not cover return postage for this worthless product.

Worst tool Ive purchased ever. I used this to split a nut that was holding my sway bar on my car as the bolt was stripped. The tools wedge bent and and didn't do anything to the nut and now I can't use the tool. waste of money as it is made of cheap material that will break on use. better to just use a different tool.

The nut didn't break loose but the tools sure did, tossed em into the scrap pile & used a cut-off wheel instead.

The # 3 cutter broke on the third cut.

Cheap not a strong product broke on my first attempt not happy or satisfied at all

Unit wouldn’t crack exaust nut, even broke alinement ridge inside device rendering it useless.
