Helavo Foldable Lightweight Rollator Walker with Seat, 360° Swivel Wheels

Absolute godsend! This rollator folds compactly and is fairly easy to set up once you’ve worked it out. The seat is very comfortable. It’s easy to manoeuvre and breaking is good. Slight drawback is the bag, which tends to fall off. Some elastic bands or ties will probably fix this issue. If the bag were used for storing the rollator it would get dirty from the wheels. Wheel covers would be good. It’s one size fits all but a narrower version would be great as some doorways are difficult. Overall I’m happy with it and it has helped me when out and about as I can take regular breaks, carry heavier items in the bag and feel supported walking.

This rollator with seat arrived next day, thanks to Amazon Prime, and was well-packed and easy to assemble, following the clearly-pictured instructions. As part of my nine-month recovery from fracturing several vertebrae, I need to keep active, with hard surface walking. I wear a back brace, which enables me to be seated pain-free and it also reduces the pain when standing or walking. However, I can suddenly get a pain spasm in back and legs and need to sit down urgently. I can walk unaided, but have been advised to normally use walking poles for better posture. I was so excited to try the product, that I loaded the bag with a bottle of water and a folded walking stick. (This one has a four-point base and it seemed better to fold it and stow it rather than use either of the two very useful walking stick holders, which have tape loops and a base cup.) My walk started on very uneven badly pot-holed road, which was tricky. Once on a better tarmac or concrete surface, I was amazed at how the walking position gave me excellent posture. I had deliberately chosen a model where one does not need to hold off the brakes in normal use. The toe tabs were easy to use, to lever the rollator over a kerb, and brakes were easy to apply when necessary. When I wanted to sit down, a full depression of each brake lever locked the brakes effectively. To stand up again was easy, as the seat was not padded, although very comfortable in use. The back support is excellent. The final part of the journey back home was uphill and again on rough ground, which was not easy. I was glad to have chosen a lightweight aluminium alloy model. The walk of about one mile, (5,000 steps) on mainly level road or multi-purpose path (wide, solid surface, designed for walking, wheel-chairs or buggy/stroller use) took me about one hour. Indoors, a quick tug upwards of the handle in the middle of the seat brought the two sides closer together, to take up less room. In summary, this is a 'game-changer' for me, and overcomes my anxiety about trying to go for a walk in my current condition and not being near a seat when I suddenly needed to sit down. I have shrunk in recent years to a height of about 5ft 10in, and, at their highest setting, the handles were in line with my wrists, with arms dangled, which the manual states is a correct position, which was indeed just right for good posture when walking. The seat height is not adjustable, but was perfectly satisfactory. Although I can walk unaided, I feel sure that it would work very effectively as a walking aid. I feel that I chose well, deliberately avoiding those cheaper models designed only for indoor use. The distinctive red colour looks impressive and helps to warn others. Every bit of the design and construction is excellent and really good value for £126.99

This is walker is very well made and enables a user to feel more confident about going out for a short walk alone. The seat is comfortable and stable enough to rest when needing a breather or feeling light headed, even for a taller person (above 6 foot). It is easy to set up for an able bodied person but if buying for an elderly relative it is best to be there to “put it together” for them. The breaks aren’t the best, as they lock the rear wheels and the unit will slide on laminate flooring or other smooth surfaces when pushing it along. Still would recommend for people that have had a stroke or get out of breath when walking short distance outside and regularly need to sit down.

Got this to use instead of crutches on days out as mobility denotes the requirement of one after an accident. It's light enough to lift, easily assembling, but fiddly getting it into it's storage bag but it goes in after a fashion. The bag also zips down and doubles as a shopping bag when in use which, is actually quite sizable. Actually really helped me and meant I didn't need to use my crutches or constantly look for a perch to rest on. Not given 5 stars for 2 reasons, brakes are shockingly bad and whilst adjustable is not really made much of a difference and the seat is just thick mesh so whilst it is light it's really not nice to sit on but then the rollator itself was less than 100.00 so, you get what you pay for. I'm going to find a little velcro cushion to pop on the seat. Otherwise as a younger user needing it for mobility issues it's okay. If you want a cheapish but decent rollator I think you could do a lot worse. It seems well made, time will tell!

This item was ordered on a Friday and delivered to GUERNSEY the following Tuesday! Better than first class post? This rollator is, in my opinion, very well engineered and very much fit for purpose. As for price, I believe this item represents excellent value for money. If I should need one as well as my wife, then this is exactly what I would buy.

Fabulous walker. Was easy to put together and very impressed with the quality and style! Purchased whilst in Spain and delivered to my hotel. Folds up into a bag so convenient to take back to Australia! Love my purchase!

Ich habe diesen Rollator für meine Oma gekauft und sie ist sehr glücklich damit. Das Gerät ist nicht unbedingt das leichteste, gehört aber auch nicht zu den schweren. Die Ankipphilfe ist schon wichtig, denn dadurch kommt man den Bürgersteig kaum hoch, wenn man den Rollator hochheben müsste. Die Montage war sehr einfach und der Rollator kann wieder ziemlich kompakt zusammengeklappt werden. Ansonsten sehr stabil und anpassbar an kleinere Menschen. Die Gummiräder sind nicht laut, zumindest auf Asphalt oder Pflastersteinen. Bremsen funktionieren gut.

El andador es para mi suegro, nos ha parecido estupendo y facil de montar. Le viene genial, una ayuda estupenda y además tiene frenos y asiento para cuando se cansa. Facil tambien de plegar. Estamos contentos con la compra.

Ho comprato questo deambulatore per mia mamma che ha problemi a camminare. Ne è entusiasta, lo usa sia in casa che fuori per strada. Ha i freni di stazionamento, è molto maneggevole soprattutto nelle manovre, le ruote sono ben fatte, ben rifinite. Funziona ottimamente anche all'esterno, sui terreni accidentati tipo ghiaia si muove bene, ovvio che per la sicurezza di chi lo utilizza è meglio stare su strada asfaltata. E' stato facile montarlo, anche se non avendo mai visto da vicino un deambulatore ci ho messo un po' di tempo prima di capire come fare. E' leggero, quando ci si siede è comodo e ha due punti, uno per parte, dove poggiare la punta del piede per salire sui marciapiedi, tipo quello che si fa' con i passeggini dei bambini. Per ora non abbiamo provato a trasportarlo in auto, ma si piega facilmente tirando verso l'alto la parte della seduta e non credo ci siano problemi a farlo stare anche nel baule. Sono contenta dell'acquisto e lo consiglio.
