Hard to find filter
theyhave been hard to find aroud here but thes are just the ticket. Our water has a lot of iron in it, now we can drink clean water again;

Tried both filters, neither pass water.
I bought these filters months before I needed to replace the filter I was using. I made sure that I purchased the same GE model compatible filter (unfortunately GE no longer makes these filters). When I finally got around to replacing the filter with the American Filter Company filter. The 1st one didn't pass water thru it. I tried the 2nd filter with same results. I can get a few drips but nothing flowing water. I even tried installing it with the label in the other direction but no change.

Great filter
Great fit and easy to install. They came with great directions. Way cheaper that the GE WATER filter model FQSLF I was looking to buy. Great match.

It got rid of the chlorine taste
We have a very strong chlorine taste in our water,it got rid of that and was very easy to install

Piece of crap!
Stopped up my water system after a month. Got it working again by emptying the filters, and reducing water pressure, but they have stopped it up again, rendering the system inoperable. Defective filters, not compatible with my GE system. DO NOT BUY!
