Why pay a plumber to use this same unit?
In my new house, I paid a plumber to flush my Rinnai on-demand water heater. This is the kit he used. Since I watched him do it, I bought the kit myself and have since used it twice. The second time I only needed to buy another bottle of the flushing liquid. Since the plumber cost about what the kit does, the second time was almost free.

Almost perfect 5
Product arrived with no visible damage to cardboard box, however cleaning fluid had leaked inside bucket, soaking all contents, pump had no damage, but I'm left without the cleaning fluid in order to descale my water tank.

great descaler, just did my noritz
kits a little different from the picture but it's all good, basically the same and i dont mind the container which is like a small washer tub of soap. It opens the same way, pull the plastic tab and a part of the top opens up to reveal the 2 hoses, the 1 quart of descaler, and the small pump. My pump was a small squarish pump, but it's worked great. I turned it right (theres a knob that says max and min) all the way to the right thinking i'm gonna get the max amount of pump action and it seemed to be as its pumping a lot of water right now.ok, first of all i have a noritz, and this is cake. Watch the noritz video for instructions. i think it's on youtube, just look for noritz flushing.right now it's pumping away, in the first 10 minutes, my clear water turned from clear to a weird blueish color, i'm assuming it's all the mineral build up. The descaler must be some sort of mild acid as i used my finger to punch the top and it felt a little like it was burning a few minutes later, so i washed it. You just let it run for an hour. oh and yeah, you leave the noritz heater plugged in and on, so whatever temp setting it was, you will see it will turn to a blinking 11. Just ignore it and finish the hour of descaling. After that dump that stuff down the toilet and wash out the bucket. Now you can leave on the hot water hose in the bucket and just turn on the cold water by removing the cold water hose, and closing that valve, then opening the main cold water valve to flush any left over sediment. This was easier then i thought and will try to do this once a year now. Noritz recommends 3-4 gallons of just white distilled vinegar, which is a non toxic mild acid, but this descaler works great too. I will buy this descaler once a year now and hope the pump and hoses last a few years at least. But 5 stars because overall, was easy. It looks daunting in the beginning but it was pretty easy. great kit!Oh and the kit does have 3 rubber washers, if you look close, the hot water hose only has one connector so make sure you use that one for hot and stick the rubber washer inside the connectors. The cold side of course connects to the pump and the cold valve connector so you need both washers on that hose. That way they wont leak, and seriously i had no leaks. Yes, the parts are cheap in the kit but once you know what the parts are, make you own kit.

... RTGH-95 series tankless hot water heater (TWH) with the recommended Rheem RTG20220AB valve kit about 15 months ago
I purchased from Amazon and installed a Rheem RTGH-95 series tankless hot water heater (TWH) with the recommended Rheem RTG20220AB valve kit about 15 months ago. Although the TWH has worked perfectly with only an occasional cleaning of the prefilter, recently the water flow has slightly decreased with a concomitant decrease in water temperature. Since my water is somewhat hard, descaling seemed like a possible solution. The general descaling procedure supplied by Rheem recommends the use of many gallons of neat food-grade white vinegar. So I looked for alternatives.I purchased this Whitlam system based on reviews, price and convenience. The system arrived with a bucket very different from the one pictured on Amazon. It is rectangular, white with a fixed lid. Removing the blue plastic strip, released the lip flap. Before mixing the Flow-Aide concentrate, it was necessary to remove small pieces of the blue plastic strip that had fallen into the bucket. The pump came with a black coarse foam prefilter over a plastic insert that slipped over the pump input. I would strongly suggest sliding off the foam portion of the prefilter, leaving only the insert to prevent the end of the return hose from clogging the pump intake. I did not and, after completing the descale solution flush, there was a significant amount of small pieces of the black foam in the used descale solution. The TWH prefilter also contained pieces of foam. Even if you remove the foam filter before use, I suggest checking the TWH prefilter before returning you TWH to full service in case particles from another source have been introduced.I should mention that the dilute Flow-Aide is initially a cloudy yellowish brown. I my case, within a few minutes, it changed, becoming increasingly light blue and more clear. At the end, the used solution was clear with a slight blue tint. Although not mentioned in the product literature, I am assuming that this indicates that my TWH contained scale and the descale was successful. Although the Rheem user guide for my TWH only recommends descaling to increase water flow, not water temperature, my water temperature is now noticeably higher.Other reviews for this and similar systems offered by Amazon correctly note that this type of system can be more cheaply fabricated from individual parts. Since I had multiple submersible pumps, extra washing machine hoses and plastic buckets, alI I really needed was the Flow-Aide concentrate. However, I use my pumps for other things and would need to alter the fittings and carefully clean them before descaling. To me, the convenience of having a dedicated system housed in a small plastic bucket stored next to my TWH was worth the additional cost.

Didn’t Expect Kit to Arrive Having Lost 1/2 of Flush Fluid
The kit arrived sealed in the bucket but upon opening the sealed lid it was apparent that everything was wet and half of the flush fluid had leaked out of the bottle - which was very very disappointing- so while I might expect this from an overseas company I was extremely upset this had happened from a company located in the Buckeye State. Buyer beware…

Easiest tankless maintenance kit ever...
If you have a tankless water heater you will need to flush it. This kit makes it easy plus the next time you flush it all you have to purchase is the chemical flush itself as you'll have the pump already. If you have any questions there is a video on You Tube which shows how to do everything.

Easy to use
Very easy to use.Was able to hook-up to my tankless heater very quickly and start the cleaning process. The water did get very dirty so I could tell that it was time to clean the heater.I did notice that the water pump would loose preassure when running so the pump could have been a bit stronger but it got the job done. Will recommend that you get this done for your tankless heater.

Everything you need!!!!
Pretty sure that my Tankless water heater had never been descaled, this kit, the instructions and a little research made the process a charm, I was shocked at what came out of the descaling process. The pump supplied is made well and having the all in one "reusable" kit is handy, no extras required. Worth the purchase.

fake speed adjustment and broken
After one use the mechanism was broken. After taking apart to inspect, the pump speed adjustment was fake and no easy repair.
