Everything operates like it’s meant to and it’s put together well. I don’t see the issues others have mentioned in there reviews but I’ve had to buy budget or used tools most my life. So I’m familiar with using junk that only looks the part. Sometimes spending a little more is worth it. The inexpensive Wen vise I’ve used the last 5 years or so split in two while replacing u-joints. After looking at other budget vises from harbor freight, etc I saw that Wilton vises have a lifetime warranty. Considering I’m looking to pay money to replace a broken tool I might as well spend $25-$50 more and know IF it happens again I won’t be buying another replacement. Great vise.
