The series continues to make me laugh, feel surprised, and appreciate the personality/artwork of it's characters. You'll find drama, action, and comedy in this volume like previous novels, but you'll feel sorrow when you realize the cliff hanger the volume gives you (KINDA SPOILER) such as the confrontation with Kid. :/

It's getting really good...I can't wait for the new volume, I hope the covers are the same as the Japanese ones that were shinny in comic con...

This volume of Soul Eater is amazing. If you like Soul eater and or collect manga, you should get this volume.

Maka is the lead character, but Black Star is the coolest. His weapon is Tsubaki, and she has many forms. She can be a sword, smoke bomb, shuriken, and many others. The best one but can only be used for a short time is the enchanted sword. It makes Black Star more faster than he already is. It also drains his stamina away faster than any others weapon form. If he uses it or too long his soul will be eaten by Tsubaki. He is detirminded to "outpass" god. I even know that will not happen. I like Kid Death, but Black Star is the coolest and has the second most powerful weapon(besides Maka is number one and the most sillest one of them, yet she the most powerful) Black Star will always be numer one to me

I liked #17 okay, but the storyline got too messy this time around.

As a Soul Eater fan I was excited to hear about the arc that takes place in the book of Eibon and I have not been disappointed. Spartoi must face a new and strange world where the horrors and sins of demons long sinced captured by Eibon reside. The group must travel down the chapters based on 7 Seven Deadly Sins to rescue Death The Kid before he is swallowed up, by a ancient evil known only as "The Black Mass". Amazing chapter a must read for Soul Eater fans.

Soul Eater is amazing. It has a unique art style that I haven't seen before and it works extremely well. The characters are ostentatious and surprisingly funny! The story is interesting and I can see myself getting hooked very quickly!
