Klever X-Change, KCJ-XC-B, Safety Cutter, 6-1/2 in., Black/Blue

I have been using Klever Koncepts products for almost two years now and I love them. I originally used the Klever Xchange when provided with one at work and I fell in love. Previously I used a downgraded model, but this model is one of my favorites! The metal end is great for piercing tape on boxes or those perforated seams on boxes that are supposed to tear but don’t really. The covered blades keep your hands safe, and the replaceable blade makes the price and this feature worth the upgrade. I have been using a dull blade for months and it still works great, but knowing you can replace blades when you want makes the job so much easier!! At a job where you have to put on your gloves when you used a “safety” or utility knife, this is an ideal alternative. Personally I HATE putting gloves on just to open a box, and with this makes my life so much easier! I reach for this 10-15 times a day and use my safety knife maybe once a day if at all. Works great with cardboard boxes, tape and even some plastic strapping. It won’t replace all of your utility knife needs but works fantastically for the mentioned items. This fits well in my hand. I don’t find that I push the replaceable blade button at all and the blade stays secure over time. An additional feature is that you can get different types of blades if you want but the covered two sided blade that comes on this unit is my favorite. This has been the talk of the team at work and I have purchased additional units to give as gifts to my coworkers!

Use daily for shrink wrap, box opening/cutting and twine/banding cutting. Works great on all types of materials! Making sure the blade is clear of debris and gunk and also the angle of cutting is key! For all the negative reviews, I guarantee they were using it wrong! Put it at the correct angle and it cuts like a dream! I own 2, one for work and one for home.

Perfect for opening packages at work and not cutting into the objects inside. The rear metal prong was a bit dull, but nothing a grinder couldn't fix.

I absolutely loveeeeee this safe and easy to use safety box cutter. This handy tool saves my life almost every night. It slices right through most of the boxes makes my job a whole lot simpler, I just love it!

Great box cutter that provides probably the best safety from any one concerned with getting cut. Your hand, fingers will never come in contact with the blade. The whole blade top is replaceable and the grip is a nice rubbery grip. There is a little metal staple remover like tip at the other end you can use to perforate the tape on a box before you slice with the other end's blade. Good design and have recommended this be purchased at my place of employment for all those in shipping/receiving.

This thing is great! I used to use a utility knife to break down boxes (mostly Amazon boxes!) but it was a pain to open and close (yes, I know how lame that sounds) and I was always afraid I would slip and cut myself. This little guy is always ready and super easy to use. The little hooks (one on each side so that you always have it the right direction) dig into the corners and then the blade easily slices through the packaging tape. A+
