This was the perfect fit for my gas fireplace. Perfect replacement for my one who’s bearings went out.

At full speed, how many DB is the fan?

This is a general replacement. The noise level is about 30DB. But normally, the noise is coming from the air movement. So it will be noisier at higher speed, quieter at low speed. Also, it will quiet when it is well closed.

Why does fan turn on and off frequently?

Had the same issue at first. What is happening is the blower kicks on pulling heat out and the sensor gets cool enough that it turns off. Then it heats up again, turns on, fan pulls out heat, shuts off, rinse and repeat. I moved the sensor to a hotter spot in my firebox and that fixed the issue. Turns on in about 5 minutes and runs about 15 after the fire is off.

I don’t know, plugs into a 120 outlet.
