favorite rice
instant favorite. bought different brand at local large korean h&r mart. unlike any rice i have ever had. forms a relatively thicker gel. i add standard soup veggies to it like garlic, corn, tomato, mushroom, salt, pepper, and whatever else i have in the house. i don't know why this is so different. it reminds me of sprouting flax as opposed to other seeds. i have tried many kinds of rice, beans, and grains. this is in a class by itself. a little nutty and crunchy and slightly inconsistent. absorbs and retains flavor. feels good to eat. i have started stocking up on it and trying different brands. i look for wild sweet rice from china and korea. this one is priced low and top quality. highly recommended. try it, you'll like it.

Tasty purple/black rice
Yummy rice called purple or black rice is what you will get if you buy this product. It’s generally hard to grow, hard to find, and therefore a bit more expensive than regular white rice, brown rice, or long grain wild rice.Uncooked, this rice has an almost red-brown color, but becomes dark purple nearing black as it cooks. It also dyes the water it’s cooked in a purplish color. This is not, as another reviewer suggests, white rice dyed purple. That color comes from anthocyanin in the rice itself- the same pigment found in eggplant. If you think of the color of an eggplant, that’s what this rice is gonna look like when prepared. It’s got a lovely nutty taste and texture that lies somewhere between crunchy and chewy. It’s a really nice change from boring white in my opinion. If you haven’t tried this yet, put it on your list. Try it with a little vinegar and black garlic. Oh, and get yourself some black garlic to try. That’s an experience not to be missed as well.

Trying Some Korean Purple Rice For The First Time
One part of this “black rice”. Two parts your preferred white rice. Cook as you normally do. Makes Purple Rice! Adds a bit of color to dish, slightly nutty flavor, not as much as brown rice IMO. So if you want to impress your dinner guests, or you're bored with plain rice, try this. I’ll defo but again bc I can’t find it anywhere locally.

Good
Not the same as I have had before from my Korean friend but still pretty good.

Love it! Made Hmong purple sticky rice
The media could not be loaded. Looks and tastes perfect! Used 4:1 ratio, regular sweet rice to wild sweet rice. Could use less wild rice but I would not use more. Texture is perfect to me with 4:1I soaked the wild rice with sweet rice together overnight to achieve that color.

Tastes notably better than wild rice things you can get from Chinese ...
Tastes notably better than wild rice things you can get from Chinese or Mexican stores. However this will cost you about twice or three times more

quality of the rice is good, I liked the taste of it. I cooked it in the rice cooker. What I will say though its a little different from some other brands I've had. Not bad just a little different texture wise.
