Very heavy duty jar. The lid is plastic but it seems to be decent quality. It is worth the price for sure!

Got this to hold yeast in the fridge and I absolutely love it!

I probably have multiple number of request for ratings of these products and I have to admit that I am terrible at responding as I try to beat back the email hydra! It certainly is not because of this product. First, the service and the timeliness can not be better. Only one time in our relationship has an item received been broken, which is an unbelievable statistic considering how much I have purchased. ( I have at least 24 screw lid jars for my variety of loose leaf tea; I am a serious tea drinker, very picky and I expect my product to be protected!) These jars are simply fantastic in keeping my tea fresh and the taste as it was upon delivery...many several months ago. I don't know what else to say besides simply if you don't own their products then you are using something inferior!

If you’re looking for a jar that can preserve the smell, look, and taste of whatever you decide to store in it, then I promise you look no further! They’re durable, light is almost impenetrable to the glass and I’ve even dropped mines a couple of times and they didn’t even crack! One of my brown Ball jars cracked from me screwing the lid back on. So for the money and the quality, I’m a customer for life of these Infinity jars!

The 1 liter, 500 ml, and 250 ml jars arrived promptly and in fine condition. They are sleek looking and nice on my new counter top. Large jar is fine for coffee and the 500 ml is good for "right next to the stove" amounts of sugar and flour. The 250 ml is not quite big enough for 2 oz of my loose tea ( I drink pai mu tan which is a fairly "fluffy" loose tea. I'm guessing the jar would be fine for 2 oz of the tighter leafed green sencha). I will be buying more of these jars including the narrow bottle shape for "right next to the stove" olive oil, and the pump bottle for hand soap to help give my kitchen a more coordinated look.

I have pretty potent herbs I have to store and many of the so called "air tight" containers just weren't holding up. I decided to try infinity jars and so glad I did. I like the fact that the seal does its job with just a quarter turn of pressure rather than having to tighten it till my forearms hurt or possibly breaking the lid. This jar is very sturdy and does not let any light into the inside keeping your product fresh. I was able to fit 4oz of flower with ease and 8oz of ground up product and noticed no smell coming out or near the lid. I highly recommend this jar for your storage and transporting needs.
