Polaris Pool Systems PV91009010 Polaris Vac-Sweep 360, 380 Tune-Up Kit

I thought that I need need to rebuild since mine was working fine. After opening it up I realized I had a broken belt and another about to let go. Well worth doing after 5 seasons

I have a Polaris 360 which is X years old. It came with the house I bought last year and one of the belts broke on it and it stopped working, so I figured everything else is probably shot and I'll just rebuild it.The Zodiac factory tune up kit included everything the Polaris kit had but for half the price. All of the parts were well built and nothing felt cheap. I took my Polaris apart, took pictures along the way, and started putting it back together with the new parts. It went smoothly and I had no problems.My Polaris works great now. Highly recommend this kit for the 360.

This kit has everything you need to rebuild your polaris. Most parts are excellent, one gear had a divider plastic piece that was warped (so took a little more time to mount the belts on it). Other than that a great deal.

The parts were as described but one gear was unusable due to the plastic divider being deformed, probably due to packaging and shipping. It rubbed hard against the drive belt and caused the drive belt to jump off of the gear. I had to use the old gear which seems to work OK for now. Hopefully it won't cause the drive belts to fail early. This does not appear to be a seller issue as it was packaged that way by Polaris/Zodiac

You get a pretty good set of replacement parts with this tube up kit. I would have given it 5 stars except one of the plastic drive belts broke after only a few weeks of use.

This kit has my pool sweeper back to great condition!! Cleaning our pool like it was brand new

The kit was comprehensive. I only needed half the parts, but I used as many of the new ones as I could. New right-side wheel axles have more sturdy mounts, but (at least on my Polaris 380) the aft right axle mount interfered with the reverse timing assembly. These was no way the unit was going back together with the new aft right axle mount. So I reused the old mount for aft axle. (My Polaris is an older model, so perhaps the newer ones have a smaller reverse timing mechanism.) I have a couple of pictures, but I don't see where to post 'em here. Bought the replacement water management kit as a precaution, since the unit was going to be apart anyway. Also recommend chasing all the machine screw threads that are molded in to the plastic with a tap or thread chaser. All the threads are SAE 8-32 (NF). The machine screws are stainless steel, molded-in threads are brass, I believe, and subject to some mild dissimilar metals corrosion. Tap cleaned 'em up nicely.

Excellent product. I have sourced out a previous rebuild for much more than this kit. When you work carefully the job is well worth the time.
