VellemanBH142B Battery Holder for 4 x D-Cell with Snap Terminals

Used this to repair a child's toy traffic signal from the 1980s. The 9volt battery snap style hookup is a better mechanical contact than the cheeseball wired version that broke due to weak wiring and substandard soldering. Would buy this battery pack holder again for other replacement repair needs. Solid unit.

Old style battery holder for projects and portable radios.

I used 3 of these to build a battery pack for a robot and they work really nicely. They do take up about as much space as a lead acid battery of greater capacity though. I also did not use the snap connectors to wire them together so I have no idea how well those work.

Works fine and the snap connector is okay. I wound up soldering the leads anyway but it serves the purpose of using D cells rather than AA batteries

Repaired an old radio, battery holder fit just right.

Used this to replace an old battery holder that was covered in battery acid from years of storage. Replaced the holder for my telescope mount's motor. This fit snugly into the old leather pouch but works well. Had to get the connector separately, though. Would have preferred wires instead of the connector.

Just what it purports to be. Solid, well designed, and the expected connector polarity.

Just what I wanted to use for "depleted" (<1.5 v.) AA batteries with a "D" adapter.
