These will rust
Bought these to replace the cheap plastic hinge on an aquarium top. The glass is approx 1" above fresh water in my 50 gallon aquarium. They started rust staining within a week and show signs they will continue to rust. The seller states they're stainless steel, if so, it's low grade stuff. Update - continued to corrode to the point I replaced them (see photos). These are stainless steel in appearance only. Don't use anyplace damp and expect them to remain rust free. You may as well buy cheaper steel hinges and spray paint them a color. I do not recommend.

Hinges: good. Screws: not good if wet
The hinges are well built, solid. The screws are rusting. However, I'm not using the hinges for furniture. I'm using them for an aquarium lid. Not the product's fault.

Not sure how these hinges can be stainless with the rust that is showing up already.
