Great kitchen tool! It works very well. I also bought the universal peeler & that is awesome! This julienne one is sharp, but not as sharp as the other universal peeler (hence the 4 star instead of 5). I am happy with these tools that I also ordered the super Y peeler (waiting to receive it).

We’ve been using some cheap peelers from the kitchen store for years, keeping them far too long. Decided to change to this peeler. OMG, night and day difference over those promo items. Never again.

I got mine yesterday and was able to use it several times already..,peeling apples and potatoes. It is very sharp and makes peeling more fun and saves you more time. What I also like about this peeler is the little ear on the side. It is use to plucked those unwanted tiny holes in the potatoes. It is very easy to do, pressed it down and twist and it's out. It is quick and fun. Others have two ears on both sides but it is not as sharp so basically it is useless..,not this one. This fit perfectly and comfortably in my hand. If there is any peeler in the market today That I can recommend to all consumer today is definitely this one. One Thing that I am concern about is that I am not really so sure if this will not get rusty. I bought several products on amazon that says made in germany...,only it get rusty after a few months. I hope this one will not, only time will tell.

My kitchen aide peeler was starting to show signs of rust so I did some research before I bought another. I compared numerous brands and after seeing this peeler and reading the positive reviews I ordered it. I've used it numerous times now and it's great! Easy to hold, easy to peel with and I couldn't be happier with my choice. For potatoes and carrots it works fabulous! Takes just the thin outer skin off. I really like how the blade tilts and pivots so it's easy to follow the contour of an uneven potato. For my other peeler I'd peel away from my fingers... I'm now finding it easier to peel upward toward myself with this one. The time to peel has also been reduced which is so nice. The skins don't get caught up under the blade on this one compared to my kitchen aide peeler either! Huge time-saver! I am very happy with this little gadget! Highly recommend it!
