This will work, but while the top is a bit large, the bottoms are a bit tight around the waist. I had to guess at the size to get, since there isn't a decent sizing chart. (At the time of my purchase, there was NO sizing chart.) The material is a bit rough as well, making sparing kind of hard on the skin. The price point is good, though.

The uniform itself was ok, but the sizing is awful. It was listed as a boys size, but was way too large for my son. I planned on returning it but the company charges a 20% restocking fee if there is nothing wrong with the product. I didn't want to pay it, so I kept the uniform. My son will probably not even fit into it for another 2 years.

Pros: well made, nice stitching. heavy fabric.Con: Sizes are small, I'm 298lbs 5' 9" the size 8 just made it.

A bit snug but strong durable and elegant!

The fabric and cut is absolutely horrible, It is so rough that it will irritate and chafe your skin on the ankles and waist if you don't wear high socks. I even washed the outfit with vinegar to try to soften it but to no avail! The top is cut like a Gee with frog buttons, it is not like any mandarin I have ever worn in my 17 years exp. The top barely moves. It feels like when you move fluidly and fast like us Gong fu players move, you will get all twisted and bound up in this top. The only good thing is that the fabric is almost indestructible. The pants are'nt too bad, just the ankles and waist will definitely affect you skin unless there is a layer between you and this glorified Gee.

It's good looking and it's very suitable for kung fu classes, but the material is very heavy, even when you first wash it properly, it's still heavy, the button frogs slightly come apart, and the pants are very uncomfortable and heavy material as well. I personally think as an opinion, look for a better option of view and style, i recommend finding a Linen type of these kung fu clothes.
