I had a couple of nails broken right down low, so I ordered this polygel to allow me to build a new nail and offer a layer of protection to let my natural nails grow longer again. I am used to using gel polish and already had the lamp and bought some dual forms to go along with the polygel. I didn't order any slip solution (didn't know I needed it until I got started) but my nail cleanser that I wipe over a gel top coat seemed to do the trick. I also didn't order any clips to hold the forms in place while curing and will be getting some for next time and recommend anyone who is a beginner getting the clips. I've never used polygel before and was impressed by how easy this was to use. Don't get me wrong, it took some time to learn and a few failed attempts to figure out how much product to use and how thick to make it, but after nailing it on 1 nail (see photo) I decided to do all 10 nails and create a nice French manicure - something I can't normally do as my natural nails are shorter and prone to breaking. My top tip for anyone just starting out with polygel is that less is more. This stuff goes a long way and once it's cured, it becomes rock solid so don't worry if it looks thin in the form. I am really interested to see how strong these are and how long they last. Would highly recommend!

Very easy to use with slip solution (I use base coat instead). Looks amazing, not see-through so you don’t have to worry about putting a coat of colour ontop of it. Very strong, stays on for weeks when used right. Professional product for affordable price. (Ignore the bad design on my pic I’m a beginner 😣)

Bit runny and hard to work with. More pink than I hoped cause of the name apricot but is pretty accurate to the pictures to be honest and turned out nice

They changed the formula. The product doesn’t cure as well. Lifting after a day. And the colour is different. I normally buy this product and with the new changes I need to find a different brand. The darker product is the new formula.

This product is a bit softer than other polygels I've used. It's more like a thicker builder gel and a bit see through. I used the duel forms first. The product didn't cure fully and needs to be wiped with alcohol after curing I put on another coat of the polygel on top freehand and it blended smoothly. It's OK but not sure I would buy again.

Works really well, nice colour

I love the opaque peachy shade to this; I've been looking for a shade that can be used to extend the nail bed without being too bright or pink, and this is perfect for that. However, I did find that the opacity and thickness made it hard to cure all the way through the polygel. When I started to file the nail you could see uncured gel under the top layers. Once cured though the nails are strong but still maintain flexibility. So far I have just tried this on two nail repairs, but interested to see how a full set is going to go. EDIT: having had a few months to play around with this I can hand on heart say this is my favourite new system and product! I always got lifting and breaks when I would wear acrylics, but you dont get that at all with this polygel. You still need to cure the life out of it because of the opacity but I can live with that.

I’ve been using Modelones polygel for about 5 years now, and I have always loved their products. However, this one specifically does not cure all the way through, even after 3 minutes in a strong lamp with very thin layers! This could cause serious issues if left on the nail. Very disappointed!

Facile à étaler dans le popits, ne pas oublier le cleaner sinon ca colle au pinceau

This stuff is salon quality. It stays on for a very long time (3 weeks). The only issue i have with it is that it can sometimes take a bit longer to cure, so make sure to cure it under the lamp a little longer.
