decent little 40mm 3pin fans
these are nice little 3 pin fans. I got them for a SFF build but unfortunately they didn't fit, however I have tested them because I will eventually find a project for them. For a small SFF case, these actually move a decent amount of air considering that they are not pwm and they just have 1 speed they are almost whisper quiet. For the amount of heat generated by my little system these would have been exceptional for removing that heat and encouraging airflow. They feel well balanced too, I didn't notice any abnormal vibration in them when running so that bodes well for longevity of the bearing. They were also pretty cheap so this is a win.

Replaced the fan on a 533mhZ Celeron from 1999
I have an old HP pavilion computer from 1999 with a 533mhz Celeron processor. Someone had actually thrown it away and I brought it home. One man's junk is another man's treasure they say. The computer was pretty dirty and from a smokers house. If you know you know. Cleaned it up quite nicely, gave it a needed HDD. The fan on the cpu was packed with crud and wasn't spinning well. Cleaned up the heatsinks and reapplied some cheap thermal paste. This is the new fan I used to replace the old one. After 2 weeks in, I been playing around with it quite a bit and everything works great. Only needed one fan but they ship and sell as a 2 pack. Anyway, haven't had any noticeable issues so 5 stars from me.

The Two Fans
Strong, Powerful but Pretty Loud.. They're good fans with good airflow. Just noisy and affordable with two a pack.

Good replacement fan!
Perfect replacement for a bad CPU fan. Two-pack was a great price, so now we have a spare!

Ice cold wind
After slapping these bad boys into an HTPC case, the overall temp even forgot that it could go higher. The noise is such a distraction though but it is expected since all of them were deployed.

Not quiet
These fans are not quiet, and have no rubber vibration dampening. Overall, a bad buy and I replaced with something better.

Low cost, quiet and does the job
I have a new fan-less dual core i7 based mini PC with 8 gb ram, 256 gb ssd with just 2 side vents but the core temp kept rising to 90 C and I was worried I'd cause damage and the aluminum case was almost too hot too touch. There was room to fit this fan inside by taking the bottom plate off, drilling some air holes and fitting the fan to suck air in from the bottom. The small motherboard even had a CPU fan connector. Now the case is just luke warm to touch and the core temp sits around 40-50C depending on load. Intel N3540's are fine as they are designed for tablets without fans but i7 CPU's need fans even lap top versions. Use two washers to stand off the fan from the bottom else the blade will rub.

Work great!
I needed a very slim fan for my Hyte Revolt 3 top fan. This one works great it has a strong and quiet motor. It really pulls the hot air out well. The quality is typical for a fan. It comes with a grill, and installation is pretty easy; you can plug it into a 4pin cable. I consider this a great upgrade at a very minimal cost worth every dollar.
