reordered another set. No light up in received side. It is frustrating because others had same issue with this product. However, i did get set to work. By using both sides together. Had not done that. It was worth the cost. Garage works now!

I have a really old garage door opener, and these have been broke for years. These were easy to attach with the original hardware and it even included some wire connectors. Door works like a charm again, without needing to hold the button. Thanks

Nearly every automatic garage door opener has some sort of these safety sensors. I replace my opener almost 2 decades ago and it continues to work well. A new puppy in the garage discovered the safety sensors and demolished them. I did not replace them with the OEM version and regret it. I seems I constantly had to "fuss" with the generic ones. Finally, I splurged and purchase the OEMs and they work perfectly. No more fussing. They are easy to tighten and stay in place. The indicator lights are the correct side to be seen after installation. They use the same bolt and nut as the original, making it easy to replace. Highly recommend the OEM in this case.Strongly recommend.

I installed my garage door in 1996. All of the sudden, the door would continuously reverse when trying to close it. I noticed that the green light on the receiving sensor would not turn off when something was blocking the signal. So I ordered these in hopes that it would fix the problem. It did. They were delivered when promised and the installation was very simple. I had to reread the directions a few times because they were not clear about the installation of the connectors. The sentence that confused me was "Cut exposed wire down to the insulation." I didn't know that them mean't and I wasn't sure if I needed to strip the insulation off the wire before inserting it into the connector. I did NOT strip the wire, I just inserted it into the connector and crimped. Not only did it work, but I was delighted to see the silicone come out of the connector to waterproof the connection. I am extremely pleased that I was able to find these sensors and they were an exact replacement!!!

I am pleased with my garage door sensors, this was my 2nd time around ordering those correct sensors and not some other similar sensors which was to replace my original, once again read product info and reviews won't in doubt and know that the product ordered is the one you need, 2nd order was right on because of reviews with positive input, 4 stars because I thought that they were somewhat pricey for what I got compared to other ones that I had viewed, but product, delivery and installation were great, thank you!

The item is exactly the sensors that I ordered from the description. The item fits the older Lift Master style garage door opener. I only received the sensors, no mounting brackets and only about 3 feet of wire (exactly as described). Very easy to install but I wish there would have been enough wire included to go all the way back to the opener, I had to splice to the existing wiring, but the splices were included. Would recommend to anyone that has an older garage opener.
