This works for 2 monitors - showing different things and with laptop closed.
I bought this primarily to connect my two Dell monitors to my Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop with Windows 10. Dell’s product had a 1 month wait. I now have a WFH setup equal to my office one. This was plug and play, very easy and no issues. I adjusted the display setting in Windows 10. So the laptop can be closed, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and 2 monitors acting as a single large screen connected to this, which connects to the thunderbolt3 on the laptop - I can move windows seamlessly across both monitors. For office work, there is no lag or such issue and I get the additional ports. Apparently it also charges but I had the laptop plugged in already. Does exactly what I wanted it to do with zero setup. Build: looks like a decent piece of kit.

Soooooo
I am using it with 2 hdmi 4k monitors.Sometimes forgets one of the monitors, It needs a reboot.I think it's not suitable for every time usage. But you can use when you need an additional monitor. Because my MacBook Pro 2019 too warming when I use this dock.

Can't replace components!
I lost my POWER CABLE and couldn't find a suitable replacement at all!! Don't buy as its impossible to replace parts. I contacted Belkin support and they said we don't sell individual power cable. Also can't recommend a replacement to buy and unwilling to help find a replacement. Basically I will have to buy the whole product at £200!!

Do not buy - Currently defective product confirmed by Belkin support.
TL;DR:- Defective product, defective replacement issued for defective product, confirmed defective by Belkin support- Do not buy thisThis review applies to the newly released Thunderbolt 3 dock plus. On receipt, the packaging was standard bworn design-free cardboard with a label on it. Not an issue, as I'm used to seeing amazon products coming through this way. Generally well packaged, with the dock sitting securely in a cardboard frame above all the accessories/cables.This came with the tunderbolt 3 usb-c to usb-c cable, the two AC/adapters for different regions, and the plug/power brick. Generally worked plug and play with no issues for my main display, ethernet, the USB c and the USB 3.1 ports. The second display port, however (The one farthest from the AC input), did not work at all; none of my 3 monitors received a signal from this port via displayport, displayport to HDMI adapters, or any other combination. This issue occurred for both my macbook pro (10.15.3 Catalina), or my windows 10 machine (Razer Blade 2019). There were no instructions in the box (Simply port diagrams and a small usage guidance leaflet thing), and there were no drivers or anything on their website, which to me indicates it shouldn't need instructions or drivers (And be plug-and-play, as Belkin later confirmed to me).Presuming this was a manufacturing issue or some kind of damage from transit, I returned this for a replacement, which arrived by prime the day after. To my dismay, this second dock had EXACTLY the same issue, leading me to believe that this was either a widespread manufactuing defect or something wrong with whatever batch Amazon had got their hands on and shipped to me.I phoned Belkin support, who eneded up escalting this a few levels, as I had already tried most of the troubleshooting they were suggesting, and could replicate this consistently across all the machines in my house (Bear in mind every combination of machine, cable, monitor etc worked on the first displayport, just not the second). I eventually got up to their engineers, who walked me through some other possible options, all of which didn't work. He confirmed that this was a known issue that they have seen quite a few times, and haven't had any resolutions for as of yet, and it seems inconsistent. The support, despite being in the US, were very helpful, and very honest with me that they didn't think I would find a solution should they escalate it much higher. Will easily drop this rating to a 1 star if I get charged for them phoning me back form overseas, as they really shouldn't be bringing this to a UK market without reasonable UK support.I'm not saying this product won't work for you. It might. They confirmed that they've had a lot of customers that haven't had this issue, but also confirmed that this isn't just me (Which I presumed it must not be because I had the same issue on a replacement device from amazon). For £200, its just not worth wasting your time with, for a product that has known defects and may just not work regardless of your setup. If you want a single display output and some usb ports/ethernet, even defective it still serves this purpose, but for the price you should really be buying something else if that is your use-case.

4k dock with amazing options
First of all, it's made from Belkin, a very known company! It's well made, not too heavy, but it looks heavy inside the box, but we have to blame all the cables inside for that.Compatible with macOs or Windows, can connect many devices, like two monitors,And it can charge your laptop while you use it away from home, while you use it!!With 40 Gbps, support for 4k at 60Hz, it's an amazing offer for professional usage. It also has included a thunderbolt cable, with 2.6 length. Finally, I find the SD card very useful, because it transfers data up to 312 mg/s, being faster then USH-I!It's expensive, but it's also high quality and something any professional should have!

Hugely impressive piece of kit
These days, you can never have enough ports. With a dongle or two in place, I would have to disconnect one peripheral in order to connect another. That's no longer a problem with this little beauty!Firstly, setup is straightforward plug and go on my Windows 10 gaming laptop.Mouse, external drive, Blu Ray player can all be corrected with ease. But, best of all, for the ultimate gaming experience, connecting to a 4K UHD TV with negligible lag is simplicity itself. So far, I've only scratched the surface of what this hub can do - the instruction leaflet is minimalist to say the least, but there's loads of information out there to give you some ideas about experimenting with connectivity.Only criticism is that the hub itself doesn't come cheap and the one USB C lead supplied is annoyingly short. It is also powered by a fairly chunky transformer, which does add to the clutter on your desk. The plus side of this though is that the upstream charging facility will keep your laptop battery topped up, without the need to plug in a separate charger.Thunderbolt 3 is the future of connectivity and I am delighted to be able to give this a try.If you don't baulk at the price, this cutting edge device is very highly recommended!
