Looks sharp and has great options. It can be controlled by touch, but also remote. The remotes are tied to their particular light they come with, so if you have more than one of these lights, you can't tie them all into one remote control. The remotes come with a magnet inside them on the back, so you can stick them to most any ferrous metal surface. The lumens are as advertised. Very bright! I use them as intended in that they are reflecting off the white ceilings I have to spread the light in the locations they are. Its nice that they come with 3 settings for type of light - from a warm yellow light (candlelight) to a harsh white (operating room/office) light. I have 2 of these for the living room at opposite sides and they do the job. I honestly don't use the remotes on them - I have them plugged into some Google enabled smart sockets so I can control them all through my Home app along with all my other smart lights and devices. They are very easy to assemble. My second one came with a bad thread on one of the joints so it couldn't be screwed together, but a replacement was over-nighted to me without any trouble. I highly recommend these lights!

I bought two floor lamps to light up our large Piano room and they did the job perfectly. There are no more shadows, the music and Piano keyboard are lit well, and the color temperature selection feature allowed me to match other lighting in our home. We don’t use the remotes after setup since we power the lamps from outlets controlled by the room light switch. Note each remote controls only it’s respective lamp. Assembly was easy and the lamps are sturdy. We placed the lamps in two corners of the room pointing straight up. We like the sleek, modern design, the bright light output on the highest setting, and that they don’t take up much room, fitting easily behind accent chairs. Though the head of the lamps can pivot, I found when angling the light toward the center of the room it was painful on the eyes to look back into those corners toward the tilted lamp heads—plenty of light was reflected into the room with the lamp head pointe straight up and that eliminated any eye strain from looking into the lamp heads. My wife and I love these floor lamps. They exceeded our expectations in quality, setup, sturdiness, fit/finish, style/design, easy of use, and brightness.

I have bought 6 of these over the past 5 years. Every one of them still works well. Very good quality (and sturdy) for the money. PROs: They are super easy to put together. The ability to select color tone is more useful than you probably imagined. Depending on the natural light and color of the room, it makes a big difference. They are indeed slim so they can light up a room without taking up too much space. The magnetic controller is handy - somehow neither of my kids lost in during the their college years. I tend to buy them in black but the gold one is also stunning. CONs. It's not the easiest lamp to move. It's too tall to keep in one piece. But luckily it's not that hard to take it apart and reassembling. I've used these in: College dorm rooms. Dark basement/laundry room. Last year I got one for my elderly Father so he isn't fumbling in the dark at night. And this year our latest one is lighting up a dark NYC apartment.

This lamp looks modern and gives off a bright, soft light that fills the room nicely. Setup was simple, and the remote control is very convenient. One of my favorite features is that it works great with Alexa, making it easy to control brightness and settings hands-free. Perfect for creating a cozy atmosphere in the living room or bedroom. Great value for the price!

The lamp is great, it was easy to assemble even though mine did not come with a manual. I love the three settings and that you can tilt the head if you need to direct the light in a certain direction. It lights up an entire room well and has no harsh glares or reflections. It's very lightweight so I don't recommend putting it in a high-traffic area. The base is pretty heavy though and I notice that if it gets bumped a little, it will right itself and not fall over, but still exercise caution. I love that the remote is magnetized and can be attached to the pole. However, my remote doesn't work, and as I mentioned I did receive a manual so I need some help with that. I noticed some other reviews that mentioned their remotes don't work either and they all seem to have ordered their lamps around the same week I ordered mine, could be a defective batch during that time. Will be contacting support about my remote. So far, this was a really good purchase. UPDATE: It's been a few weeks now since we received the lamp, and I still have not been able to get a hold of their customer service about the remote for the lamp not working, and there's no obvious reason why. The option of having the remote was 90% of the reason we bought it, so we can turn it on or off from anywhere in the room. Not having a working remote is making us want to return it. 10.24.24 Does anyone know how I can get the remote to work for this lamp. Never received any support from customer service in regards to this and it's the main reason for buying the lamp.

This is the fourth pole lamp I’ve put together in the past 6 weeks. The others were through the Vine program, but I liked the concept and purchased this lamp for its added brightness. Likes: Brighter than similar lamps. Three different light settings. Simple to operate. Comes with its own remote control. Works with Amazon smart plug. Very good directions. Dislike. Not stable at all. Not recommended if placed where it can be bumped. Overall. Simplicity of this lamp. Two of the other lamps I ordered were classified as smart lamps, operated through software installed on your phone. Negative comments on those were by people that just wanted an easy to operate lamp. This lamp is easy to operate and there is no app to download. I added an Amazon smart plug to the other smart lamp for simplicity I lost some features but I just wanted simplicity. This lamp works perfectly with an Amazon smart plug, for those that don’t want to be tied to a remote. You do need the remote to adjust brightness. Stability. All of the lamps that I ordered were in the range of 10 pounds. Although the base seems heavy, the lamps are so tall they are not stable. Great for a no pet, no child household, or if placed in a secure location. Assembly. I recommend placing the lamp on the floor with a pillow under the bulb part. The base props the lamp up and using a pillow on the other end levels it off and makes assembly easier. There was a loose nut in the box with no direction on using the nut. It did go on under the base. Probably not needed. There does appear to be excess cord between the bulb part and the top tube. Slowly pulling the cord at the base removes the slack. The cord, or wiring, runs through every piece. That takes guesswork away. On other smart lamps that I ordered there is a separate tube with no cord running through it. The directions were on those were poor. I placed the separate piece at the bottom, it belonged at the top, and pulled the excess cord. The wiring split. Trashed the lamp. After that learning experience, I ordered another lamp and assembled it easily. Adapter. This is important. The directions state not to use any other adapter. On one of the other lamps I ordered, a less expensive one, the adapter was missing. I used another adapter that I had, and blew the lamp. I trashed it. Another reviewer had the same experience. No adapter in the box, used another adapter, the wire started melting. The remote. Initially it didn’t work. I reread the directions. It said the remove the film on the battery. I hadn’t noticed any film. I removed the film and presto, it worked perfectly. I can recommend this lamp.

It's not often that I can say a product is amazing. This is, and it saved me more than $1500. I've changed all my lights to LEDs and the remaining CFL was in my bedroom. It was designed for bulbs that don't come in LED versions. Then I discovered most LED lamps, even the one I almost bought for $1600, won't go on with a wall switch. This one looked like the simple design I wanted so I checked the questions and quite a few people had asked whether it will operate with a wall switch. They all said it would, and goes on at the last setting used. It does, and it does so much more than that -- much more than the $1600 lamp. There are 3 settings for color, which I will probably never change but it's nice to know I can. It has a remote control, which I realized can be useful in that room even tho' I will normally use the wall switch. The remote is even magnetic, so I can keep it attached to my bedside lamp. The remote also changes the brightness or color. I can't believe all this for that price. It doesn't even feel flimsy like most inexpensive torchieres do. One small beef: Incredible as it seems, they sell a lamp with so many features for so little money and then save money on paper. The flimsy, tiny instruction paper that they jokingly call "a manual" never mentions the little plastic protectors that are pretty invisible at the ends of each segment. So it took me quite a few tries screwing the first two parts together before realizing the protector was there. Twisting each segment of the pole meant the wire was pretty twisted when I got to the last segment, but that doesn't seem to bother the operation. Small price to pay for such a terrific lamp - and, yes, it is bright. It serves well in a room with no ceiling light.

I really liked quality of this product for how relatively inexpensive it was (compared to other similar models). All the pieces came wrapped up in a snug little box. The base is heavy (but not extremely heavy), so the lamp is sturdy. The dimming works as advertised, and the 3 different tones are very noticeable. I know in the pictures, you can't really see a difference, but in person, it's there. It comes with a remote ( and battery wrapped in a plastic film, take it off first) which is magnetic (nice and strong). As you can see in the picture, I put a Command™ strip on the remote, and attached it right to my wall, so it functions as a light switch. I also plugged it into my Teckin Mini Smart Outlet Wifi Socket (can buy as a 4 -pack on Amazon, good price) and can control the light with my Google Assistant (either through your Android phone or through the Google Home Speaker). All you say is "hey Google, turn on the light" and she does it. There is a 1.5 second delay if you are turning it on through the Assistant via the Smart Outlet, but it's instant if you are using the remote or the touch button on the lamp itself. Lastly, as a 5'7" tall person, it is tall enough where if you look at the lamp part, you're not staring directly into brightness. I liked it enough to order a second one! Note: the first picture is with the lamp off and the light streaming in from the kitchen, the following three are the three different tones, the second to last picture is of the remote attached to the wall with the Command™ Strip, and the last picture is of it plugged into the Teckin Mini Smart Outlet Wifi Socket.
