The first one came and it was unopened and missing the 7/16" drill bit, so I returned it. The second one came and when it arrived about half of the drill bits had fallen out of their slots in the case so it was a pile of bits, which is understandable. The problem was about 10% of the bits had no markings on them what so-ever. I ended up having to use a micrometer to figure out what size they were and which slot they went into in the case.I have since used the bits several times and they work well on carbon steel but having to mic them to see what size the bit is if they pop out of their slot is time consuming. I bought the index because I do a lot of tapping for machine screws at work, I can't be guessing which size it is.

Several of the bits were not straight. Can you imagine drilling a elongated hole for a project

I tend to have a set of drill bits I regularly abuse, and then keep these for cleaning up holes, exact sizing, and pre-drilling for tapping threads. That means they don't see a ton of use, but when I do use them, it's because I want them to do a very specific job, PERFECTLY.Like I said, I don't use them enough to have tested the longevity of every single size, but everything came in the box, nothing missing or loose, and when I've needed them they have been on hand and haven't let me down yet. I know there are better bits out there, but I've been happy with these, especially for the price.If you're going to do something more industrial, you may want to save your money and get a really high-end product (buy once cry once and all that), but for an enthusiast or hobbyist to use on occasion, I could recommend these just fine.

The drill bits are nice but the case needs improvement because the smaller bits are very hard to remove and can break or bend when replacing and removing them.

Only used this once, and when trying to get #43 (0.089"), found some same sized drills in that area. Bit dulled very quickly in steel (with cooling fluid). Grabbed a cheap drill from standard set (although smaller), able to drill holes fast, then used this kit's #43 to open the hole to closer size.I guess you get what you pay for, but if you need the accuracy - if you are buying Number & Letter Drill index then I suppose you do - this might not be a good choice.

Complete set in one package is very convenient. The packaging in a molded case is well done, keeps the bits organized and marks the value of each. All bits are on one level; no need for pivoting holders and having to go behind one row of bits to another. The markings are molded in so are not high contrast from the background. I may try to enhance their readability with some paint.The bits all appear of good quality and sharpness. I cannot speak to durability since so far they are only lightly used. I did drill a series of 1/4" holes through 1/2" cold rolled steel with absolutely no problem and no loss of efficiency from first to last.

I guess for the price I wasn't expecting the world but the set was incomplete. I received an extra M, 28, 29, and 48 bit but was missing a 3, 25, 31, 35, 1/16, 3/32. and a V. Whoever fills the slots didn't put the correct bits in them. Like I said, for the price I'm keeping them and I'll just add what I need but if you buy the set it's best to check every bit for correct size.

Received set and went to use it and found multiple bits not correct size . Example had #5 bits in several spots so missing those bits. Bad part did not realize the issue until needing #8 and it was a #5.

En general se ve bien, no las he probado, la verdad no espero mucho del juego, por ese precio, para de vez en cuando tener la broca adecuada para algún trabajo, está bien, no vale la pena devolverlo por una broca pero, es un mal detalle que le falten piezas, por eso sólo dos estrellas.
