A fantastic book highlighting some of the amazing places in Wales. You’ll definitely need to have an additional proper map as well so that you can accurately find these locations. This is a great way to start planning your Welsh adventure.

I have the Wild Guides for Wales and Scotland (had to order from overseas for the latter) as well as the Bothy Bible. The book materials are excellent quality and as much a pleasure to hold as they are informative. The layouts are sensible and you aren't overloaded with unnecessary gibberish.As a useful guide it's first rate for people who just want to do natural scenery, and a perfect supplement for people who want to try to combine a culture trip with the outdoors in the summer, when the sun is in the sky until 10 but most attractions have closed their doors, except for pubs.

I live in Wales so am looking forward to hunting out many of the hidden gems in this book, a great way to explore and holiday at home and an inpsiration for those days where youi're not sure what to do....some really lovely and secluded spots found so far.

I’m a proud Welshman. I’ve purchased this book for me and about 10 people now. It’s brilliant. Things I didn’t even know were on my doorstep are now amazing and mostly hidden to the masses. The map feature is amazing for planning a day out. The route times and parking recommendations / directions when you arrive are incredible. If you’re ever stuck on a rainy day and don’t mind getting wet (welcome to wales) then buy it. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I don’t have any negatives apart from not wanting all the secrets to become popular…
