I used these bulbs in a track lighting system that produces down lighting over entertainment cabinets. The halogen bulbs that I was using before produced a lot of heat. These LED bulbs get warm but are not hot to the touch, making replacement much easier. I have other track lighting systems throughout the house and I will definitely purchase more of these bulbs to use as replacements. The 3000K brightness is a little whiter than halogen, but not extremely white. They blend well with existing halogen or incandescent bulbs. Another plus is that they should last for 20 years with normal use.

Excellent product. Dynamite price. I installed track lighting in my sister's home 30 years ago using what at that time was new technology Sylvania PAR16 lamps. She loved it but has hated the replacement lamp cost ever since. These long lifed and very low wattage lamps should resolve that issue. LED lamps will never feel exactly like the original halogen lamps but they are the closest in color and feel possible.

The bulb directs the light straight down on the counter. These bulbs are in a pendant lights (30" above the counter) so there is no light upward towards the ceiling and side lighting is narrow. This is the effect I wanted so this bulb is perfect.

I wanted to match the new LEDs in the kitchen with a bright white but these have a yellow tone to them. Better for warm than cool lighting.

The bright, but low wattage LED lights replaced two bright and hot halogen lights. Easy to install. No issues at all.

Makes a great little light on my workbench grinder.
