Do your research prior to purchasing products.This particular product does not fit my vehicle.Nothing bad about product.I own a 1988 Canadian Acura Integra RS.Do yourself a favor and research to order the right part that will fit your vehicle.I have yet to find a locking gas cap for this model.

Avoid Motorad MGC-782 "locking" fuel cap. Poor fit.
Bought for el34. This is junky knock off product that does not seal, and no matter how long I fiddle about with it, it will not lock. Anybody can wiggle it off even after "locked." You will not be happy with this to replace the stock fuel cap, and while it has a lock and key, it does not really lock and is a bugger to try and get to stay on at all.

incorrect fit information
when I looked up a locking gas cap for my 1998 BMW 740iL, it said this particular one would fit my vehicle. Once it arrived I attempted to put it on and lock it and it did not fit.

It does not fit our 1974 Mercedes 450SL......Your description is wrong.I had to return it and we lost money..
