NEW Blow Off Valve w/ Flange Fittings The body and all internal components are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98 in (50mm) valve. The V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp gives a very clean and unique appearance.. The valve seal utilizes a Viton O-ring that is clamped in place to prevent the possibility of sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated, hard anodize- coated for wear resistance. The Blow Off Valve also comes with a NEW machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with over sized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for long life. An aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange is furnished with each unit. The use of 6061 aluminum allows the housing to be anodized with a selection of colors. Through countless hours of R&D were able to make the same size valve flow a staggering 60% more than the original design - that means 60% more air is blown off per cycle! This is the highest flowing BOV on the market. INCLUDES: BOV V-band Clamp V-band Weld Flange High Pressure O-ring Air Fitting

Very good and economical solution for a BOV
I purchased this BOV for my N54 335i as the stock charge pipe finally let go as they all do. I purchased a boost monkey CP elsewhere and got this BOV as I really didn't want to take a $250+ plunge for a name brand. I will admit, upon receiving this it is well packaged. Not too familiar with a BOV system verse the stock diverter valves, the stiffer spring is STIFF, and that's what came installed. So, just installing it out of the box, my stock engine vacuum can not open the BOV. Learning curve. Took the valve a part and checked everything. Seems to be well built. Reassembled it with the lighter spring and started the car. The valve was wide open at idle now, and closed when the throttle opened. Seems to be working now but I'm not too sure of the WO BOV at idle. I had some fender washers I stacked inside the BOV to shim the spring a bit. This is not a long term solution as I will be shopping for springs in the near future. The valve now runs about 1/4 the way open at idle. I'm happy with this. I've given it 4 stars as spring selection or a spring that was close to the 11-12lb mark would be nice. Even if I have to buy 2 Tial springs for this BOV, I'm still ahead $150! I like money. I like saving money. I don't mind working on my car. I'm not a snob when it comes to aftermarket parts, yet I still have an eye for quality. This seems like it will do the job. The fact it has NO markings on it whatsoever leaves options for "your name here" if you really fall in love with this chunk of aluminum. I also didn't mention I used the stock vacuum size like from the intake plenum to the BOV. I do have plans to go up to a 1/4 setup as well.

Chinese Junk The spring that it comes with is useless. Its too stiff for any practical application
Chinese JunkThe spring that it comes with is useless. Its too stiff for any practical application. You can cut a few coils off but then the BOB is open at idle and the spring doesn't sit correctly. So then I bought a Tial 10 PSI spring and it wouldn't open at all. Save your money and buy a genuine unitwaste of time

Good quality material
Good quality material. Upon initial inspection i found one small burr from the aluminum threading process which could have made its way into my engine if i wast as thorough at inspecting the valve. I disassembled it to check for more issues but didn't find any other than the heavy spring seems to be too long. Luckily my motor doesn't make a ton of vacuum so i will likely be just fine with the installed low pressure spring. I do not personally like banjo fittings so i replaced mine with an AN fitting and ran some nice black Kevlar hose to the valve directly from the manifold. I might even get a second one if i switch to twin turbos instead of a single.

Good alternative to the overpriced name brands.
Seems to be working pretty well in my BMW 335i coupe. Swapped the he-man spring that comes in it for the included reasonable one. The clamp could be ever so slightly bigger. It was a huge pain to get on. Packaging was good.

pretty impressed. I ran a china turbo at ~10 psi on my miata for about 15k miles with no BOV, and when it finally blew up I decided to get a more serious setup, so I got a garrett gtx2863r. I also decided I should get a BOV for piece of mind to increase longevity and reduce the risks with compressor surge. I was surprised at the quality of this BOV. It opens and closes quickly and its got a good sound to it. If super loud is what you are after this isn't your best bet, but that wasn't my main reason for purchasing so I was more than happy with it... plus noise is what the EWG I installed is for :)

Works as expected
At first it was sticky till it broke in, now its fine. Spring is stiff enough it wont open under idle vacuum and pops around 4psi.

Intoxicating sound
Nice quality, relatively large blow off valve. Sounds great and I'm running 14psi on a BMW 535i. Wish it came with some basic assembly instructions as I had missed some washer after I installed it

Low quality.
Complete garbage. The factory spring installed must be about a 50 lb spring. It says 20 but in find that hard to believe. The banjo bolt for the vacuum line hookup striped after only being treaded in a short way. Other than that the accessories. i e. The v band clamp and weld in flange are quality.
