Well make, very beautiful

I just received this today! It's absolutely beautiful!!! The picture doesn't begin to do it justice! And it's bigger than I thought it would be. It's very well made and pretty heavy, with lot's of detail.It's well worth the price Amazon has here. I'm putting my prayer cloths in it for our church!You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a beautiful replica of the Ark of the Covenant or if you want to use it as a storage box!!! Or if you want to bless someone with this as a gift, they will be thrilled!!It took about a week to get it from the time I ordered, and it was packaged real well!!!

It was more than thought. My and heart just surrender to the LORD just looking at it.

Perhaps buying this with the items that go inside would have justified the price!

This is one I struggled with for weeks. I looked at all different sizes and vendors. I finally settled on this 1:10 scale version. What I can tell you is that if you are looking for a replica piece like this, the 1:10 scale I think is the best value. Larger than this and the price skyrockets. Smaller ones can be had for far less, but they are really tiny. The base is hollow, but that's fine, I am not sure why that would matter. You could take it off the base if you wanted to but that would mean popping off the bottom and taking things apart. Not sure the average person would be trying that. I am thinking about painting the base satin black so it does not distract from the Ark itself. I think the copper base is a little too much actually. A slab of sandstone-colored and textured wood could look better IMO. But the item is fantastic, no doubt about it. Can't say enough good things here.

I bought it because I'm into electricity and found it when researching electric arcs and electrical theory, found it interesting that I learned that this thing was to be covered in gold, most everything back then had Earth value of gold, I kind of think it's interesting that gold was always the greatest conductor of electricity, maybe it has something to do with a unique connection relating physics to religion... technically everything's related cuz it all came from the same ground zero, whatever that is. I think it's beautiful cuz it reminds me of the two guardian pillars from NeverEnding story movie.

I am returning it due to poor quality. From the comments and pictures from others, I think what I received was an error and not the usual experience buyers have. Stay tuned for an update on the replacement.UPDATE: I received the replacement ARK and it also has deep scratches and gouges. I am very disappointed and returning this one for a refund. I believe they are sending me Arks from the reject pile. There is no excuse for such shoddy work. Please refund my money. Buyer BEWARE!

I'm not even sure why I ordered this. I'm a believer and I guess I thought it would be good to have. It literally came in like 2 days and when I got it, I was just in awe. Well except the cherubim are curly headed kids and i think that is up to interpretation. But the actual ark almost invokes reverence. And it opens!!! I places some thing I bought from Israel inside. I mean I cant describe it. Its metal fairly heavy... just too good.
